In terms of comedy, it's mediocre, but it excels as a thriller, especially with how the villain manages to escape everything. Where the victims remain off-screen throughout, giving us only a taste of the crime committed against them, but its infuriating impact is mostly felt by the viewers who are left to grapple with the consequences. The promise of poetic justice comes from an unexpected direction, yet the resolution of the plot is just as surprising. It's not that the twist itself is unforeseeable, but rather how long it takes to arrive there, and the torment of the viewers is inherent to the genre. Just when it seems all hope is lost, a fitting conclusion emerges.
I never liked it when a movie or TV show episode starts with the ending, then 'jumps back' in time. Knowing where the story will end takes away the excitement of future uncertainty, robbing it of possibility. Considering that much of the episode is about the escape we already know failed from the first 5 minutes, it really detracts from the enjoyment and so It felt like watching a rerun.
I'm in trouble at rate this movie, because the topic fascinates me but as a movie, it certainly far from perfect. I wonder if the goal of picture a human mind can use the ability far above the average people - as protagonist - can be done as an enjoyable blockbuster. So in spite of all its faults I gave it a higher ratings. :)
Quite good low budget battle royale action movie, I would give a higher rating if they do not shake the f-camera. :)

I would love to hear the japanese intro out, but that terrible voice-over again. Interesting that german speaking is not voice overed.
The russian voiceover of german speakings is killing me. :)
