The ending with “Someone To Stay” was so emotional. Really love it!!
I think we've been over the part where this show can be considered as a car show. It's just about three petrolhead who bickering with each other and drive from A to B. Okay the part where Hammond tried to go up to the mountain with a sled was aggravatingly stupid. I hope that these kind of specials will come much more frequently...
Fantastic end to a fantastic season. The slowmo scene with the tomato was sooo silly! I loved it!
This episode was fantastic! I really liked how it showcases that these guys also want to have a good life, but their shady side just don’t let them go. Jay need to threat someone whilst he’s on a date, and can’t shake off his honesty. Pope can’t concentrate on his date. But most of this, Craig’s arc was the most devastating.
Honestly, i appreciate the writers here much more, as back then in SoA. They don’t want to make us to hate these guys, to accept their bloody fate much easier. They just want to manage a decent life, but evantully i think they will fall big time.
Also the flashbacks justify my feelings towards Baz, how much i hated him. He’s so different from other family members.
Why are there random things in the opening title? This week a lamp in Oliver’s room, last week a flip flop on the tree. In ep. 3 there was a champagne next to the trio.
Steve Martin was pure comedic gold in this episode.
“Do i deliver or do I deliver?”
“It’s like watching Squid Games without the subtitles.”
That was a very fine hour of TV. I praise Barkin and Hatosy for their work.
Okay, Carl Rogers was a son of a b:asterisk_symbol:tch, but Chandler is also cold-blooded! And that warehouse scene presented that accurately.
Really like this season!
Also it was great to see the J. Edgar cameo, and Hank too!
Overall, it's a great ending to a mixed season. Tudyk is an absolutely amazing actor, but the others are mostly loveable too. I love the dinamic between the Sheriff and the Deputy. I think the writers made some poor choices with the story throughout the season, but i can't angry at them, because most of the punchlines were hilarious. I am looking forward to the next season.
"This is some bullshit!"
“The topiary isn’t even erotic, it’s just giant balls.”
This episode felt like an epilogue for the previous season, or more so an apology/acknowledgement about last season's "Trump centric" theme. I mean i did love the third installment, but the shift of the focus was just not right. I know that life is unfair, and shit happens all the time, but that doesn't mean necessarily to lose our judgement. I missed the objectivity, so i was a bit glad with this opening, because it finally seems they accept that everything has an upside and downside too. I hope we get more lawyerly stuff in the future.
This episode is a textbook example to the definition: jumping the shark.
Superb season! That was easily one of the best detective drama in this year. Smart writing, great characters, and i am happy they kept the shows pace from the beginning.
“Nope. No abuse. Bummer.” :D
The scene where Alex loses her shit under the dog interview is just priceless!
I find it more and more harder to watch, mostly the second half of this season. Especially the finale, because we get an answer, but we know that the real truth remain in the dark. I don't think neither, that this season was better than the first one, but i praise how they handle the seasons' main plot without any subjective opinion. I am looking forward to a possible next season, with more extraordinary and devastating interviews. Because i really missed them in this season.
It's a shame, that Alan Tudyk appeared so rarely on the screen. But when he showed up, i felt like he steal the show from anyone else. Beside it was great how they broke down the fourth wall at the end of the episode.
"-Uh.. i like jizz
-Ah shit. He ain't what he used to be."
Goodbye Veep, one of the greatest comedies of the decade, if not the best.
“Holy shit Bruckheimer! When you get an abortion you’re supposed to leave the mangled fetus at the clinic, not staple it to the skeleton of a gay condor and run it for president.”
“Just give it to one of those gay-converting Baptist colleges to fund a statue of a gold-plated Jesus fucking a triceratops.”
“-I have your estrogen patch, if you’d like.
-You wear it. Maybe you’ll grow some hair on your vagina!”
“-What do you think it says?
-I don’t read mandarin, ma’am.
-When do the new Kents come out?”
God, i will miss this show so much!! :(
-Oh dear Lord, God in Heaven.
-Not exactly.
That was absolutely brilliant and f*cked up too. I feel ashamed when i laughed on the death scene. One of the best episodes of the entire series.
