I shouldn't have watched the entire season in one day but I regret nothing
Another one of those shows that starts off pretty meh then finds it's footing and takes a significant turn for the better.
Gave up half way through season 1, gave it another chance, and now I can't wait for each new episode!
I have so much to say about this show and how bad it is. If you want a excellent supernatural drama, then watch this BUT only from season 1 to 5. The fifth season's finale offers a great ending to the show and after that, everything is just plain bad. The plots stop making sense, they bring back characters just to kill them off and introduce new ones nobody gives a shit about. Think about everything that makes the show amazing, all those characters you love. Well, you'll be lucky if they decide to kill them off, because they managed to ruin Castiel and Crowley's characters to a point where I can't even stand them. Season 10's Crowley is just terrible, all he does is sit on his chair in his castle or whatever the hell that is (look i made a pun) and kill random demons. Regarding Castiel, a lot happens to him after the fifth season, sure, but his character just doesn't evolve. This is so irritating because i was such a huge fan of this show but now i feel like i'm gonna have to drop it.
I can only recommend the 5 first seasons, after that everything is just bad.
Just look at the gap between season 1-5 ratings and season 6-10 (or 11 now, since it has been renewed), and really the only people still defending this show are tumblr hardcore fans and shippers.
Lady Olenna owns the title of Queen of Thornes even when she's dying! #RIPOlennaTyrell
Seeing Jon and Sansa reuniting was so satisfying ^_^ Sansa has matured a lot. Brienne actually made it in time for once xD
Loved the ending. Danny with her usual coming out of the fire naked, looking badass xD
I've never been so happy of someone's death.
The Marvel Universe becomes transcendental. It doesn't veer far from the Marvel formula but it is hugely entertaining and Cumberbatch is terrific, as usual.
Strangely, there are echoes of some of the lesser superhero movies within. Green Lantern, Elektra and 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer share similarities. Obviously, Doctor Strange is better than all of them and takes the superhero genre into a new, fantastical realm.
My head is literally in pain from this film...I'm left feeling empty. If you asked me what I just witnessed in these past 2 hours, I honestly couldn't describe what took place. The entire thing felt like a bunch of messy jump-cut, foggy action sequences stacked up on top of eachother with NO character substance or plot to hold it together. The writing was terrible and insanely cliche, there was no depth, and absolutley nothing to be taken from watching this. Oh and in addition - the use of that soundtrack - terrible, sad such a good song like Heathens is even a part of the franchise. Wish they had spent more money building the storyline and chracters (WHO HAD PROMISE WITH THE RIGHT WRITING) than promoting the shell it became...
for me, this film felt the most like the original series out of the rest in the AOS series! having the crew stranded on an unknown world, separated, and trying to find their way back to each other - nothing feels more 'star trek' to me!
The book was very good... but damn the show was incredible. Thank you Netflix.
The hand of Lord Stark, the one who was looking at the whore, why did they have to kill him! Fking Lannister!!! I liked him!
Here we are. Season 1 finale. It's a good thing that we already know we're getting season 2, 'cause that cliffhanger was brutal.
I'll be honest, Legion took me completely by surprise. Before it premiered, I was pretty sure I would like it - I mean, it's not like I'm hard to please when it comes to TV shows. Give me some well-written characters and relationships, some fight scenes, a few explosions, a superpower or two and I'm on board. Legion has all of that, but with a twist. I came in expecting a cool origin story kind of thing, and I came out riding a motherfucking neon-colored LSD train of insanity that blew my mind in a thousand different ways. And I loved it. It wasn't just different, it was unlike anything I'd seen before. And I can totally understand why some people didn't like it. But to me, it was everything I never knew I wanted. The acting is great, the special effects are top-notch, the music is awesome and the "gotta do it for the aesthetic" attitude resulted in some truly spectacular visuals. Overall, I'm very satisfied and I'm looking forward to seeing where the writers will take the show in the future.
I'm speechless. This episode had everything: animation, black & white silent movie, awesome music, glasses from "They live", Dan Stevens in his original accent, horror, zombies, villain back from the dead, Kill Bill (kind of - in the coffin), Matrix (there is no spoon), bald father (in the anmation), Jules Vern, crazy maestro, I can keep going on, I can't handle it, this episode was an experience.
An absolutely beautiful episode. So many twists and top-notch acting; this ep had it all. Definitely a top 3, maybe the best, episode of the series. I can't wait 6 more weeks...............
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.
We must become the change we wish to see in the world! ♥
this movie > the fault in our stars
A recurring theme of Black Mirror is depicted best in this episode: punishments that don't match the crime. Then those punishments become new crimes. And on and on.
Amazing season, important show.
This show is my definition of "I never knew I needed this in my life, until I watched the first episode". It's so good. And even tho I have the attention span of a potato... I'm glued to the screen from start to finish of every episode.
I have ran out of words to praise this show. Great acting, great writing, great production.... what more could we want in a show :-)
It's so rare to find such jewel. Everything about this show is perfect. Stellar cast that superbly does the job. Not one bad apple among them. Script, dialog and narrative are finely tuned machines that deliver the exact amount of excitement needed. After watching only one episode I recommend this show to everyone because I know that it will deliver excellence throughout the entire season.
This is by far the best movie in the Trilogy. It sticks to star trek ethos and manages to be entertaining at the same time
The special effects, the cinematography, the music, the acting. Everything so far has been outstanding, hopefully it'll keep it up.
FKING DRAGONS ! ! ! !
THE EMOTIONS! ALL MIGHT! UNITED STATES SMASH! ONE FOR ALL! WHAT AN AMAZING EPISODE!!!
This show is a masterpiece!
Just got back from seeing this. Here is what I'll say right off the bat: It's not nearly as bad as I anticipated based on the reviews going in. If the entire film was exactly like the first 30 minutes, I would LOVE this movie. Sure it would have been 2 hours of set up, but how much fun was that first 30 minutes?!
THE GOOD
Harley Quinn. Robbie lives up to the hype on this. Seeing the ads I wasn't head over heels. I just wasn't seeing the charm of it in short bursts. But seeing the movie totally reminds me of watching the animated series, which I haven't revisited in awhile. Makes me want to go back. She was the best part of this movie.
Will Smith. I imagine fans of Deadshot will have plenty to say about what he got wrong about the character. I didn't know Deadshot existed until this movie. I'm not a huge comic book guy anymore, so I was going in blind on this. I loved him. I thought he was great. Still not 100% the Will Smith I want to see up there, having a blast, but this was pretty damn close.
The music. They went the Guardians route with the soundtrack and it works. I'm a sucker for a recognizable old jam in a movie and there are plenty in this.
Ike Barinholtz. Big fan of this guy and he's friggin' hysterical here. He was a big part of that first 30 that I loved so much. Seeing him interact with Harley, etc, was great.
THE BAD
Everything after the 30 minutes of "We're putting together a team." Once they're assembled and the completely ridiculous plot begins, and the long stretches of boring make you even more aware of how many leaps you have to take to believe the plot, the more checked out I became. I know you have to allow some suspension of disbelief in these kinds of movies, but this one asked a lot.
Insanely subpar CG. What the hell was going on with the look of the villain? These were Mummy-level "The Rock's face pinned to a blurry CG body" effects. Just baffling.
The end was the same as every single one of these movies, whether they're good or bad, it's just a group of characters who have to use their skills to battle a CG monster, each of them fail until for some reason the last big thing they do works. Whatever. Also the end look of how the power was shooting out of the building looked very Ghostbusters (any of them really).
The Joker. Look. His Joker was just fine. I liked his look, he was even being kind of crazy sometimes. But for the amount of screen time he actually gets DOES NOT equal the amount of articles I had to see about this dude pranking people on set and being disgusting and sending gross gifts to Viola Davis blah blah blah. Seriously, the PR train on this has been going strong for what feels like a year and a half and it all amounts to....15 minutes, all together? Sure sure this will set him up for other stuff but come on. So many articles about him being in character and pranking. So many. The other actors had to hate it. Especially considering the fact that they BARELY share the screen with him! It'd be like Jeremy Irons pranking the shit out every single cast member in BvS "for his character." Lawrence Fishburn would not stand for that shit.
Anyway, I didn't completely hate it. I had fun sometimes. I laughed at things they didn't want me to laugh at sometimes (so did the rest of the theater). But it wasn't the worst.
"Get on your feet and make it happen"
IMO the weakest of the four seasons from the Marvel Netflix shows so far. I still enjoyed it because there are still great parts to it. Like the music or the acting but after a certain characters death in episode 7 it just got kinda boring mainly because it lacked a interesting villain.
People are already giving low rates..I think this movie looks great.
Aida, I've come to bargain ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
