Not as bad as I thought it’d be. Many things are different than in the game(s) but still entertaining. Tom (as much as I love him) wasn’t the best choice but still did a great job, its just that he looks way too young and different from nate, but then again the timeline in this movie is very confusing in comparison to the games.
Like from the ages of nate and sully it takes place in the third (or second, don’t remember 100%) game were they’re both young and met for the first time but in the movie its the story from the fourth game were they’re both older and known each other for many years, so they mixed everything together, which makes a decent adventure action movie, if you don’t compare it to the games.
But I guess they had to do it that way to make one movie for 4 games.
If you’re a big uncharted fan I recommend you watch it, but be prepared that its pretty different. (but ofc there a few things that are nice nods to the games)
If you’re not a fan of the games but love treasure hunting adventure movies I recommend it too, but its nothing groundbreaking.
Regarding both parts,
I really don’t understand the hate musical episodes get, they are so much fun?! And it’s not like they’ve overdone it, it’s just a special fun occasion imo.
The only little thing I didn’t get is the timeline, we ended with Vic getting fired and Jules knowing shawns not psychic, and then the musical episodes starts and Vic’s still there and Jules doesn’t know? But it’s not really an issue it was still a lot of fun
oh and THANK.YOU. for clearing up the hanging part, I already saw myself writing about how it’s not possible and then in the end they comment on it, made me burst out laughing xD loooove it when shows/movies do that.

very weird and not the good kind
I didn’t excepted it to be like the boys, but something like it or a few stories/insights about the characters but this was SO random wtf. The only two episodes I kinda enjoyed were 4 & 8 , the rest is bullshit imo :’)
(Also, why didn’t they use the actor voices for the characters?? some were correct and some were different, which was confusing, but Samberg’s cameo had me fangirling even when it was super short, so that was nice)
I know theres a word for stuff like this show but unfortunately I don’t know it so I have to lable it as random, stupid & weird, even tho I love weird and dont want to sound too harsh on it, Im sure there a people who like that stuff but it aint me :’D Maybe flat comes close to it but yeah, you can skip that show, or watch it, since its only 15 mins episodes you won’t waste too much of your time but, and I hate to say it bc I was excited for it and wanted to like it, this was disappointing.

surprised Im in the minority who don't like this episode.. All I could think was what the actual f is this.
The ep before I was wowed of the visuals (it actually took me a second to figure out if its animated or not bc it looked so real, especially in the beginning) and now this?? hurt my eyes and felt like its glitching, both visuals and character acting/movements. Like its a very cheap video game who lags.
That ruined everything for me, if it wasn't for that it couldve been a great story but that overall messiness especially from the camera annoyed the heck out of me.
But yes, the differentiation between hearing and deaf was nice.

6.0 - 6.5, I really don't know how I feel about this movie, meh would describe it best I guess..
-stunning visuals/effects
-points for diversity (especially for showing ASL, always love that)
-Homelander is that u? why are dudes that have laser eyes and can fly always a holes xD
-good looking cast, but the characters didn't really grab my attention, they're kinda boring
-especially Thena, felt like they made her dull, doesn't speak much and has almost no emotion, I have to say I think its part Jolie´s "fault", isn't the most emotional actor.. but no hate to her. Sure part is prob intentional bc she lost her mind and all but I just think for a warrior goddess she should've been more fierce/fun..
-story is kinda forgettable too, lost my attention a few times, also not sure how it fits in the mcu, typical "not my movie not my problem" attitude
-only character Im kinda interested in is Eros/Starfox post credits, he could be fun, so we'll see how the next movie´s gonna be

movies like this are the reason why I dont like the horror genre, its just so dumb.
Ofc the kid only starts screaming after the Killers gone so she can say theres no one there, not turning on the lights and rather walking in the dark when hearing a weird noise, her only stabbing him once and not making sure hes dead/tie him etc and turning her back to him and just sit there so he can dramatically rise from the dead and all that stupid shit are reasons why I cant with horror movies, its always the same. Sure there a a few good horror movies but for me those are the exception.
Very boring movie, apart from the typical dumb behavior it also has no real story or substance, dont understand how this turned into a kult franchise, maybe with 45 years after release Im just too late.

oh boy that movie is bad, as a HUGE fan of the games I had to watch it, even being aware of its bad rating.
-bad casting, why a German and especially Schweiger of all people?? Jack isn't german from what I know so I dont see the reason for a german cast
-barely ever heard such stupid and unnatural dialogue, very cringeworthy
- I hope someday they do the franchise justice, maybe a movie about the third game would be great, but ONLY with a good writer and a good cast, I dont want another movie disgrace that awesome franchise like that again

wasn’t really interested and only watched it bc of Ryan, (ik ik) but it was surprisingly better than expected, not great but it had its funny moments and didn’t bore you, but a little too soppy at times for my liking and the story felt a little flat
and yes he was very mature for a 12y old, it really was a little odd how he acted but not too much

guess Im in the minority who don't like that movie, I barely made it through bc it was boring, slow and uncomfortable* but when Enid, a Teenager, kissed a 30-40ish dude I had enough and turned it off. (I don't know the actual ages but it felt very inappropriate)
*I don't like Enid, she's insensitive, rude, apathetic and it feels like she enjoys being rude and I just can't stand people like that, I mean Im not a snowflake one of my favourite characters are Deadpool and Archer who both are kinda assholes but people like Enid are just.. idk something about them makes me kinda aggressive. And even tho that's probably the point of the movie, its just not for me.
every episode I loose my mind over it ending, they do such a good job keeping it intense and wanting more. Having to wait a whole week for the next ep is torture. I missed Dexter so much and Im so happy about the writers doing a good job, (I was really afraid they'd fuck it up) feels like the good old times back in 2013 when Dex was my first favourite show.
side note: I also think Angela figuring it out that fast is a little weird, lets see what they do with it in the next ep

- I understand its prob a good movie but I just don’t like it that much, I think its only for a specific kind of audience (which is totally fine and respected) one that likes that kind of complex and futuristic concepts (not sure how this category is called)
- its too long, felt like a over 2 hour intro for the upcoming “real movie” so maybe part 2 will be better/more interesting
-maybe this would’ve really been better as a series as someone else mentioned
-weirdly this was both beautifully shot and disappointing in quality, some scenes had amazing cinematography and others felt a little trashy/low resolution and also kinda dark (someone mentioned that too)

6.5, well I never played LoL so I don't have the connection to it, also the animation style PERSONALLY bothered me a little, felt like it should be high quality/modern animation but delivered that kinda 720p video game quality, but after a while I got used to it. First few episodes were meh, but then it got better and I was more interested in it, overall okay but for me nothing mind-blowing
also Vi´s hair in the younger version annoyed me xD First I wasn't sure if it was a scar or hair streak, turned out to be hair and it drove me insane :') like how could hair be in the exact same spot all the time?? felt weird and her hair in the older version looked so much better (I sometimes feel weird about hair, especially hair streaks, its a tic)

7.5, Overall liked it, love Pete (Ik, many people don't) and him basically playing himself always works great, and Griffin was also a good fit, Story isn't that deep or special but its still entertaining
"fun fact": guess I never heard Cryer´s voice before (im German) bc I thought it was somehow the same as Pete´s xD confused me a lot lol

5.5, not really my kinda movie, went in knowing nothing about it and continued not really "getting the message" from the movie, the ending was a little bit over the top for me, sure cute but a little too much
I originally thought the alien would help the boy, surprised how it turned out, also remembered me of that one monster in spn xD

-Ive never read or heard about the comics-
have a hard time rating this, I liked the first ep, went downhill from there, hated 24/7 and almost quit, loved the one after that (1x6) and started to somewhat like this show and warmed up to Morpheus who I couldn't stand the first half and now Im almost excited for the second season. Kinda like riverdale, its not good, I don't really enjoy it but can't stop watching it either. (Yes ofc riverdale is much worse, don't @ me)
Its up and down with this show
-sometimes the dialogue is stupid and unnatural
-feels like they try too hard and want to be epic but miss the point (tf was that battle against Lucy? that's what I mean with epic, they try to be special and clever but it felt stupid and dramatic
-I don't want to say its too gay (Im not 100% straight myself) but for me, again, it felt forced and unnatural, like they did it just so they can say their inclusive and oh so progressive. But with doing so you give this community who already has a hard time more reasons to be hated, I mean now people could see this and being annoyed with queer people "bc they're too much and so extra, they want everyone to be like them" or whatever homophobes are saying. (I wish I could put it in better words)
but ok if it was like that in the comics, fine, but it could've been better.

-cute ending with that sunny day* thing, but overall a little unsatisfying, felt like something is missing.

Im not sure why but I didnt like it that much, seeing all those high ratings and comments I expected better. Don't get me wrong its good but its not that exceptionally good or special. Did not fascinate me, mostly felt surprised and disgusted, or both. (I heard about it being traumatising but it still surprised me how graphic it was)
-expected the faun to be the villain, the mother said they can't be trusted and then he gave her that mandrake, and all I ever heard/saw about them is driving people insane when left under the bed
-her eating the grapes made me really angry, but then I remembered they prob didnt have that much food and so I think it was a bigger temptation, but still, very stupid and unneccesary (especially for that short amount of time she was in there)

oh I love this movie, its so much fun! (and not just for kids) Especially when you are a nerd like me, so many easter eggs from other fandoms and really funny jokes, absolute comfort mood booster movie!
