The only good thing to come from this movie was the line: "You've got that perfect nipple placement."
This is actually a really enjoyable series. It's a nice twist on those cooking competitions and the glass works are absolutely stunning to look at.
Some of the people in this competition really bother me, but I am enjoying the series regardless.
Series like these are gonna drag me into hobbies like glassblowing... :joy:
I remember watching half of the first season when it came out, but I picked it all up again this year and rewatched it from the start.
I have seen a lot of mixed opinions about this series, but I really liked it. The characters are simple, yet well-written; they change and grow. There's a lot of family drama, but I personally liked that a lot. I would definitely recommend this series and look forward to a third season (which doesn't feel like a stretch, unlike what other series sometimes have after the first season)!
I absolutely loved this movie and the storyline was intriguing, the visuals were amazing and I definitely stan the whole damn squad!!! However, I did get the feeling that this movie was released to tie up some of the "loose ends" the MCU had left... :thinking: I also feel like they coded Carol as a wlw, but that they decided to not do it in the end. Spoiler, but not specifically plot-wise :eyes:: It would not have been hard at all to make it a wlw romance either, Carol and Maria were pretty much raising an adopted child together and from what I can see they also lived together. The movie just slapped the "best friend" and "Aunt Carol" label on it and decided it'd be fine, though.
Definitely underrated! It's way better than expected and gave me a fun and emotional movie to watch. I really liked the characters and their interaction, too!
I genuinely enjoyed this movie and it was better than expected! I really enjoyed the cast and the interaction between them. It wasn't the forced "we're men so we should behave bad-ass 24/7" BS, it was a much more funny yet realistic group!
The plot regarding the Predators themselves in this movie tended to be a little bit brushed off, but I still liked it nonetheless.
My favourite episode so far, lmao. It's a pretty ... unusual season, but I'm liking it!

I also love the nods to the original movies and Chris Pratt is such a good character in these movies.

Such a great movie! I enjoyed it a lot. The movie didn't feel rushed or too slow, the action and storyline was nicely spread out. The movie focused a lot on each character's strength and weaknesses, which was nice since most characters had their first appearances here.
There were barely any 'romantic' scenes in the movie! I like that, because that shows that action movies can be great without romantic scenes.
I love that you need a certain amount of knowledge about DC Comics in order to get all the references, but even when not familiar with the rest of DC (you need to watch the Wonder Woman & Batman vs. Superman first, though) this movie is amazing.
9/10 would watch again and I definitely recommend it!
The amount of times I rewatched everything is insane.
This movie surprised me. It was so unlike the first movie, which is not a bad thing! This movie was, after the first hour or so, an emotional rollercoaster which I loved a lot. The music's placement was a lot better than in the first movie and the storyline was kicking.
Every single character was a lot more interesting; they had actual personalities, not just a 'concept' of a character. In other words, the characters had inner conflicts we see in real people too.
And let's not even begin about the amazing SFx, because- woah.

I loved watching this movie! The music was great, the characters were interesting and the SFX was amazing! Idris Elba is such a great actor for Roland and I really loved the characters' dialogues.
The story was a bit vague at times, but it didn't bother me. I haven't read the books so I can't say whether the movie was "how it's supposed to be" or "like the books", but I loved it anyways.
9/10 would watch again (and again)!
Still one of my favourite movies! Watched it when I was younger and it made such a huge impact. Loving it today, still.
I came for the good jokes, stayed for the story and fun.
The movie wasn't as bad as I had expected with all the hate online! It was actually pretty good.
The first half was a bit weird, honestly. There wasn't enough plot/storyline, but that all came the second half.
The cast did a good job and the music and scenery was on point!
DC is trying their best and I think they did well with this movie.
Possible spoiler: Everything's the same Universe, so that's also very exciting!
This movie is a great one; the effects are pretty well done, the acting's good and they did a very good job at remodeling the characters (but what the heck happened with Redd White???)
I enjoyed watching it a lot and you don't have to watch the anime/play the games first.
