This show had big shoes to fill replacing breaking bad in it's time slot. So far, it's doing well. Very, very character driven, yet in a way that isn't so slow that it bores me.
guilty pleasure movie. the scene with the NIN song and the firebird is amazing.
Crazy. I am completely opposite of the rest of the comments. Fantastic character creation and one of the best origin stories they've done in the Marvel movies. Stanley Tucci was quite amazing. The avengers should be truly great!
Also, definitely not the "worst superhero movie". Go watch Ang Lee's Hulk (the first one) or, God forbid... Thor... /shudder
Incredibly excited for the new season. Tomorrow at 12:01!!!
I watch this and am really impressed with McConaughey. I used to equate him to the male version of Katherine Heigl. Not a bad thing, but his roles didn't have much depth. At least his successful roles didn't.
Also, I get the Hannibal vibe as well. I think it's because they slow the pace of the show and let your mind fill in the blanks between the dark imagery they're using.
I had a good time watching it. It's just plain fun!
Is it a movie I'll watch a thousand times.. probably not. But it's definitely not a movie I regret watching (I'm looking at you, "The Happening").
This seriously has the best series finale ever. It is well thought out and inspired. For that alone this show is great. Also, the show is pretty damn good.
Thought it was great! The opening scene was fantastic and loved the way cut in the origin story with flashbacks.
I read that article about Johnny Lewis. Crazy stuff..
inspired. i freaking love aaron sorkin. his writing is on another level..
Loved this movie. Even though the story is not crazy original, I didn't feel like I had seen it before.
Definitely true. I've been hooked from the first season and it hasn't gone downhill yet.
This is by far my favorite show. The writing and the cast are absolutely amazing.
The hook for this show isn't the financial misdoings, but in the same vein as House of Cards, this is a show about wielding power and leverage. The fun is in watching the characters finding angles on each other and exploiting them.
Hopefully the fun continues. The acting is good, the characters are compelling and the financial industry is a good enough back drop to provide interesting storylines.
This show just keeps getting better. The introduction of the Inhumans is awesome. It's not as jaw dropping as a Marvel blockbuster movie, but the story line has progressed well, specifically Sky's. Looking forward to how they draw this into the upcoming Avengers movie.
Well.. it was good while it lasted.
Fox: Where Good TV Goes To Die.
Seriously.. we need to get spoiler tags working so that we can talk about half the stuff that happens on this show on here!
It's this decades X-Files. True story.
great new show. its like a more refined shield (same director). the voice overs are a great touch.
Also known as..
Die Hard 5: The Movie That Hates and Destroys Vehicles
Seriously.. how many cars died in the making of this movie. There should be a stat for that.
Also, I very much enjoyed this movie. Good times all around. It was equal parts ridiculous and excitement. Just what I was expecting.
The ranking of Die Hards is now as follow: 1,3,5,4,2
I give 5 the upper hand on 4 because Justin Long got on my nerves in 4.
Best valentine's day ever! Seriously though.. that is happening.
what @tarynrenae said. the opening had me laughing pretty good when i saw it in theaters. from there on, you know it's going to be ridiculous..
also, i'm betting spork isn't really watching a movie that goes to theater in 4 months. bad scrape or trailer i'm guessing.
there's a scream 4... ha. that's awesome. i loved these movies. perfect 90s cheese horror.
I wouldn't go as far as to say it's better than Homeland, but that's because I love Homeland and it's character development and intertwined plot lines.
That said, I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this show. I was expecting more nbc drivel.. you know.. good for background noise while you're, say, working on a website (Flashback springs to mind..). I ended up completely focused on the show, so well done.
budget cuts for mad men have definitely pulled this down from what it potentially could have been. truly a shame.
Never read the book, but I liked the movie. This.. this is just bad.
If anyone ever asks me what the worst movie I've ever seen is, I quickly and easily tell them that it is this movie. I actually saw it in theaters and left the theater absolutely stunned at how awful it was.
