Torture porn gets a low rating, -3 stars in this case.
"I've come to clean your phone!" What nonsense is this
Well, I DID like Boyhood after all.
I felt a lot of empathy for Lisa. Probably because I was Lisa when I was really little.
The B story with the animals was better although I was not into it at the beginning.
Wow the ending of this episode was a lot. A lot, in many ways.
Another episode that never seemed to air when I watched syndicated Simpsons night after night. What a shame.
I never seemed to catch this episode during the syndication era. Despite a couple of good lines it feels a little off to me now.
This watches like a parody of LoM. Whoo boy. I'll trust everyone and stick with it for a bit.
I have no idea why this one is called "Time Squad".
Mister Sparkle AND baboons make for an excellent episode.
Pretty ridiculous but as you can see from the picture we get goth Lovejoys
the weirder they get the more stars they get, fight me
Two Colorado references, a Be Sharps reference, and Bart knows the best era of Genesis.
It's hard knowing that very few episodes are left, and then getting an episode without the main cast.
And yet - and yet, it's still better than the curling episode.
The first Brazil episode was not good. The second Brazil episode is not better.
When an episode has both Miyazaki and Legion of Super-Heroes references, it is nearly perfect.
Did I crib Homer's second set of wedding vows for my own wedding?
y'all rating this 8.3 based on nostalgia, admit it.
This episode was on a super random super hilarious track until Woody Allen showed up and docked it one point.
Only rated as high because the actual musical is so ridiculous.
The first episode of the series that I genuinely felt was poorly written. The topics were fine, but the delivery was way off. Also, really a bar fight?
When the first episode gets you upset, it's a sign
So apparently everyone on set hated Anjelica Huston when they should have been hating Jack Nicholson's ridiculous accent.
After the Milhouse fence gag, which has become one of my favorite Simpsons gags ever, the episode skews dark and weird. Unexpectedly great by the end.
What if Steve Erickson wrote The Library at Mount Char?
The spirit is there. I probably wouldn't have started off with Knives so early in the show.
I do miss Milly though.
I wasn't interested in the Crusher Creel, er Victor Creed, er Victor Creel subplot for some reason, but since everything else was great, I have to rate appropriately.
Enjoyable but derivative. Could have been plotted better.
