WOW what a season! I loved the strategy, the characters, and that unpredictable final blocking. Certainly a season to remember, and I hope the next follow the same pattern of game structure (looking at you producers), great gameplay, and high-quality entertainment.
Best episode of the season so far, so many good moments! Soda's blindside and then Venus claiming it as her move?! I was cackling at poor Tevin's reaction, just too funny.
There were so many incredible moments in this episode, definitely the best of the season so far! Despite the structural issues that come from a 1 hr show being stretched into 1.5 hrs, as well as the way the detours are created, I was never bored. When the race is good, it's so good.
A fond farewell to Parvati, she was entertaining, ruthless, and creative as usual, and I will never get tired of seeing her on my screen. Props to her for pulling out so many crafty strategies to hang on for as long as she did! Truly, rip.
chants PARVATI! PARVATI! PARVATI! PARVATI!
Wowowowowow, you're all absolutely crazy for not loving this movie.
OOF. This one was rough to watch. The message was grating and not well-done, the romance(s) were cloying, the “mental inferiority” plot line was both weak and… yikes… making the episode altogether underwhelming. There’s a reason the show ended after three seasons.
Utterly haunting. This one sticks in your mind, for sure.
WHAT BELONGS TO THE SEA CAN ALWAYS RETURN
I am always down for a Timothy Omundson sighting!!! This was a fantastic episode, I’m loving this show so much.
“For 50 bucks? I'd put my face in the soup and blow!”
Jamie Lee Curtis really does have all the brain cells in this movie. Queen.
Also: Michael Palin is an absolute gem, we’re so lucky to have him.
This absolutely fantastic legal thriller had me hooked from (almost) the start, and once it gets going… it really never slows down. Sure, there’s flaws, mainly in terms of plot, but the characters are compelling, Vincenzo is SUCH an awesome and brutal character, and the last episode really nails the ending. All in all, a new favorite that I’ll definitely be recommending.
Kinda sad the CEO is taking a backseat in this later half of the series since he's so incredible, but otherwise this was a top-tier episode. Drama and action and silly little fun times! Incredible.
Meg 2: The Trench, more like Meg 2: Where Are the Megs?!
We’ve got a wild cast of people already, and most of all I’m just excited my favorite show is back! Bring on the mess!!!
whatttt I did NOT see that coming! things are starting to speed up…
Yeah, this is absolute gold
Ooooo this is gonna be good
they had NO RIGHT to make me suffer like this, to do this to me??? AHHHHHHHH
AHHH so much fun! A bevy of entertaining moments, and moves the plot along enough that I'm excited for the finale (?!) next episode…
"Why don't you stand up for yourself? Make your own plans?"
"Oh I am, but rescuing me makes him so happy."
I always love all the care and detail that's put into every aspect of this show! Characters, set design, music, plot threads, big ideas… it all comes together so marvelously. The romance is mwah, of course, and I love how the small stories are fitting into a bigger picture. I cannot wait to see where this season goes…
An absolute, unequivocal delight! It is so, so good to be back with these characters, I cannot wait to see where the story goes…
well drape me in velvet and feed me a macadamia nut, this episode was great
This was…lovely, yet a disappointment. There were definitely highs, and great moments — Zahra’s scenes, the emails, the ending, most things from the book — but a lot fell flat, including the chemistry between the leads. The spark and connection between them died down whenever there intimate moments; not exactly what you want from a romance. And a lot of their innuendos and banter came off cringy rather than adorable or age-appropriate. Overall a letdown, but still glad I experienced it. Okay, now off to reread the book…
"In this world, you must be oh so smart, or oh so pleasant. Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me."
This is just exactly the moment for me — lovely, ironic, and perfectly kind. I just can’t imagine seeing this film (or the play, which I also loved) and not smiling ear to ear.
THIS is what I mean when I say I love animation. I love the beautiful, crazy, unique, artistic things animators can do, the characters they can create, the way their art can depict emotion and feeling on a different level. I’m so so happy this movie exists, if only for that reason. Here’s to a new era of animation.
Complete with a fun romance, hilarious father-son antics, a solid plot, and incredible physical comedy — all-time stuff — this was an absolute delight. Up there with Keaton’s best!
A simply marvelous ending to a marvelous show. I love these characters, and while I think this final season has showed happily ever after is never really that simple, this ending was a perfect encapsulation of Midge’s journey and the journeys of everyone around her. Tying it back to her very first standup was such a powerful choice — I almost cried. Wow, it’s going to take me a while to get over this show and this ending…
