SO much better than the first part! This movie made me truly appreciate the saga for both the characters and the story. So excited about the next one!!
Watched as part of the Halloween week, it's been a couple of years since the last time I saw it so I really enjoyed it! Nicole Kidman was stunning and very funny next to a warm and adorkable Sandra Bullock.
"Always throw spilled salt over your left shoulder. Keep rosemary by your garden gate. Plant roses and lavender, for luck. And fall in love whenever you can."
Maybe I had high hopes for this second season, but first episode felt a little meh…
"The thing about this form of communication is you're likely to talk about nothing. But I just want to say... all this nothing has meant more to me than so many somethings."
I love Meg Ryan's character, the setting, the development of the story and of course the chemistry between them. But every time I watch it I end up disappointed with the ending. Instead of proving herself to be a woman with integrity (and slapping him for the way he manipulated her), she just falls into his arms unquestionably. Unlike her heroin Lizzie Bennet would have done.
It's one of the few Nora Ephron romantic films I really complain about the ending
After 10 episodes of a great and really innovative show, I kinda feel disappointed with the ending. But I understand Amazon’s policy: it’s not the best designer, not the most original, nor the one who’s been consistent from the first episode and accumulated higher praise... in the end, it was the one who could sell more. Online and worldwide. I’m not saying Jonny didn’t deserve to win, but Esther was far better in many aspects since day one.
One of my favorites and funniest of Audrey's films. Every re-watch is a delight!
“It takes courage to live outside the traditional expectations of society”
I guess none of the Bridgerton siblings will end up following the expectations of society, that’s what makes this show so interesting.
(Oh, and I wouldn’t complain if they make Benedict gay, btw)
Great episode!!! The games were amazing and that ending... I figured it would happen eventually but not here and now! In the short time Alma was Beth’s mother, they really bonded and she left a lasting impression on her. I really liked the relationship between them, so sad it was cut abruptly
I repeat myself: Crowley is the best thing that happened to this show. Both Mark Sheppard and Jared had great performances in this episode
Maybe it’s just me, coming back to the show after I stopped watching it for a long time... but the episode felt weak in writing, scenes were too predictable and the whole episode rushed. I mean Sam got in and out of Hell and it was simply a walk, fight off a couple monsters, oh hey here’s Bobby, let’s get back out
All in all, it was really good to see old familiar faces back
I was expecting so much more from this show... so far, an underwhelming start
Oh how I cried... I loved it, a really pure story very well told. Simple parts for these great actors and were so genuine, simply beautiful
Oh my Hook!!! insert 1000 hearts
Why keeping Max alive in the end? I know there are many adapted bits and parts from the book, which makes this show fresh and thrilling for the ones who've read the whole sagas... but still I had assumed that little boy's days were counted.
Sebastian.. absolutely remarkable! Better and better with each episode
BEST EPISODE so far!!! As a loyal fan of the books for years, I'm loving the show in those ways where it's true to the story and also the new additions that just click so well. This episode was great: the Lightwoods, the way the told us about the past, the whole atmosphere, Simon being Simon, and then... "You've unlocked something in me" insert 1000 hearts
An amazing cast, beautiful settings and costumes, and this great story nicely told and played out. I'm watching and re-watching Agatha Christie's novels adaptations and the ones where Peter Ustinov and Angela Lansbury are involved are by far my favorites!
“Glad you found your French toast”… more adult people should understand things with a simple grasp as today’s kids do
Wow… I got my suspicions pointing in a whole different direction regarding Isaac’s father. Never saw that one coming
Oh I was so excited to see the second season has finally aired… perfect timing for me
9/10... this episode, really!!
It had Sheriff Mills, a good old monster case, Dean speaking THAT WAY about sex, Dean flirting that way, Dean fulfilling porn fantasies, Dean being freaking Dean!
And also Sammy drama... I really enjoyed this one so much
This is what I’m loving most about this season: regular cases, salt-burning bodies, hunting things, the family business...
Great flashbacks of Dean in a crucial moment of his adolescence (and best kid to play him so far), felt like going back to the beginnings of the show, first seasons. The real essence of Supernatural
There ain’t no me if there ain’t no you... One of Dean’s best moments of the whole show
Nobody’s buying your act, Ezekiel. What’s gonna happen with Sam?
“I was born to direct”:rofl::rofl:
What the actual f***? Really, those future flashbacks are more and more confusing... Bonnie and Enzo!!!
The outcome of the Phoenix stone is way interesting than I thought.
I kinda sympathized with Lily so far, but really Damon, just go get her
10/10 because I can’t rate this any higher... This show is so good, this season was so good and this final episode was incredible!
Team Spencer+Caleb is the best! They've always been my favorite characters, but together in action they work perfectly!
Oh I cried... This amazing story, these amazing characters that grew so much over the years, went off with a beautiful ending. Though I'm super disappointed with Michael!! Why leave him alone? None of his relationships worked out in the past (not even John!) and Ben was so dreamy and they could have had a happy ending, I truly think so.
Anyways, it has shown such a real and wide perspective on queer culture, diversity, past and present society while also making us remember we're all people, we seek love and acceptance, we value true friends and family.
10/10 on the whole ensemble of Tales of the City, from the early beginning until now so many years later. Thanks Netflix, for making this happen.
So emotional in so many levels! One of the best episodes this season
OMG! John Noble!! Before seeing his face, just his voice echoed as Walter Bishop or the Senescal of Gondor... what an amazing charm he puts into all of his characters
Damon talking in a funny voice as Miss Cuddles XDDDDD
