I fel in love with this show immediately. Then I found out it was created by Damon Lindelhof (who did "Lost") and I was afraid i'd be disappointed at the end. My fears were unfounded. This may be the best eight hour movie I've ever seen. Nothing is predictable and everything happens for a reason and is ultimately explained. I'm watching a second time and enjoying it just as much. It has an absurd logical progression that reminds me of Monty Python and Quentin Tarantino.
Saw it in 3-D on Christmas Eve with the whole family. To be treated to another masterpiece of stunning beauty and technical wizardry, I'll gladly put up with the standard politically correct storyline. Three hours of the most entertaining movie magic that had me nearly convinced we visited another planet... again!
One of my absolute favorite movies. Being a Star Trek fan, it lets me laugh at/with Star Trek without belittling it at all. Every actor is spot-on. The whole movie just gets everything right.
