Who writes this crap and then who are the idiots who green-light it?
No real story other than how to shove as much CGI into a previously solid franchise.
It's worth a few stars, just because they didn't add any 'super-hero landings'.
Re-watch Skull Island is my advice
You really do need to remove the genres of Science Fiction and Action from this piece of slow-mo crap. just wow! How does crap like this get a release?
a 'meh' one time watch movie. but what was up with Travolta's hair? was that sprayed on by a school girl? that was the most distracting part of the whole movie
I lasted 15 minutes into this steaming pile of seahorse manure
That was an extremely long pile of crap to sit through. Bricke must be a secret super-hero to survive the insides of a burning caravan as well as shot in the guts and then driving for miles in a truck. Plain stupid story, sorry, no cigar
Megan Fox - the Expendable with perfect make-up throughout. Poor CGI, no story and plot holes you could drive a tank through.
A sad 4th installment indeed
wow, wasn't expecting much for a 5th installment but this was a great watch indeed. Some of the de-aging was a touch off but well done. James Mangold did a great job in weaving in a befitting soundtrack that went along with the antics in the 1st and 2nd movies and the story was solid.
Gets an upvote from me anyway
a little cheesy but still enjoyable. way better than the current Hollywood crap at the moment. good story
Loved it. a fresh take of sorts and he looks a bit like John Wick's dad :)
low expectations going in. expectations confirmed going out. the acting is awful, cliches abound and I laughed out loud when they needed to do their required slow-mo shot. The premise of the story was interesting - they didn't pull it off though.
this was not the Jason Statham movie I was waiting for. He needs to stick to the action genre we love him for. Not recommended for Statham fans!
Nope, maybe the movie has aged poorly. I stopped watching during the long and boring Angie Dickinson scene. The movie gave me no reason to watch further
I was sucked in by the poster, to be honest. I thought there would be more action. Having said that, I enjoy movies with good stories which this had.
interesting story. too slow for my liking though
well in 2022, this movie doesn't age well, sadly. I remember it in 1980 as enjoyable. today, not so much. Mainly just seeing Nimitz footage in a movie that does nothing
cheesy but still a good watch
total crap but the movie poster is ok
well, that was an hour and a half of my life I wish I hadn't committed to this piece of slow dull crap.
Not recommended for humans
This is definitely a piece of high-quality TV
A must-see
long-winded, rambling and 90% was boring
but some good scenery
won't be watching that again.
I'll stick to the Dark Knight
Strangely entertaining. I think it was the cleavage, mostly.
that was just shitty
Fast & Furious has out-CG'd the Marvel franchise.
and WTF is with all those magnets?
just horrible
I'd heard good things about this one. It took a little while but I wasn't disappointed. This was one of the best action flicks I've seen in a while. And it was refreshing in mixing great action with funny comedic moments.
No doubt someone will be dreaming up a sequel.
I'm a sucker for any Mads Mikkelsen movie.
It's a weird concept but I enjoyed the movie overall
couldn't watch more than 20 minutes of this garbage. At least Bruce Willis made money on the movie. Poor, poor Bruce
Well, this was a great movie, right up to the time we first see Billy Zane and about 95% of the way in. And then everything went downhill from there.
The story took a downward spiral and went against what 'was' a great looking piece of scary action. And the ending wasn't one.
Recommended ... that you delete this movie.
Silly characters doing silly things. I only watched this because of Chris Pine. A dumb movie. The characters should have watched ZombieLand
well this was certainly an unexpected gem of a movie.
A stupid story with silly characters. You'll enjoy it though because 'Burt'.
Great SFX but you need to leave your 'reality meter' at the door. The premise is silly but I enjoyed it until it was getting too convoluted towards the end when so many unnecessary problems kept happening and needing everyone to once again race off somewhere else to get stuff fixed.
It wasn't a boring movie but was 30 minutes too long.
