This NEEDS to get better. Again its non stop cheese and no explanation to why this is set in the 50s and how Vision is alive. There should have been a much better intro episode
I can promise you NO ONE would praise this sh*t if Marvel weren't behind it.
In season 1 and 2 I was rooting for Octavia to become a great warrior, but her development never felt believable to me. I think I started to lose it at the part where she just became Indra's second in command. Within the shortest time she successfully mastered God knows what kind of fighting skills and was able to take down whole groups of skilled fighters. Let's remember that she spent like 16 years under floorboards.
I'm never sure if it's the actress or if the character is simply written so badly (though at this point I think it's a mix of both) but it always feels like a 16 year old who tries hard to look tough and edgy when in reality it's just a little girl who wears clothes from Hot Topic.
They / them... How bout F*** Off Star Trek Discovery. No more of this nonsense for me. I've put up with a lot of crap from this show because I like Sci Fi and I used to enjoy The Star Trek universe. But we never see the toilet in Any Star Trek show but we've seen it time and time again in this monstrocity of a sh!t show. B-bye
They / Them - give me a fucking break. Not this shit in Star Trek. “let’s include everyone” attitude in Hollywood is starting to ruin a lot of great shows.
What did I just watch this show is a absolute cringe fest waist of time
Woke, boring and zero sci-fi. Good to catch some Zzz's.
Season 3 has started off with a disappointment just in the first few minutes the show becomes a mess of bad pacing, cringy dialogue and awful pandering. The only relevant stuff in the plot was towards the ending. 4/10
...Aaaand, I'm out. The main storyline might (or might not) be awesome and mysterious and whatnot... I don't care. I'm not willing to suffer a minute more of this cringey, dumb 1950s sitcom. Too painful to watch.
Forced myself to watch the second episode but feelings remain the same. This does not belong to the MCU!! If this is an introduction it is taking too long. I think it will loose many MCU fans along it's way. At least it will loose me: 1/10.
Holy shit, Mia Queen needs to eat a sandwich.
This is the last episode I am watching!
If they want to go on with this old comedy parody this show is not for me. I hope all the other Marvel shows will not follow this path. If you want to pay homage, do it with one (at most two) episodes. This is not the show I expected and I came to watch. The continuous change of scene between parody and "reality" is bothering me. Scarlet Witch is a fantastic character to expand and explore as you see in the very few snippets this show gets "real" and Elizabeth Olsen is a great actress able to act in a superb way in every role, comedy just doesn't fit in the MCU for me.
You lost me at this point and I surely will not be in cinemas (whenever they will open again after pandemic) watching new MCU phase 4 films on day 1 as I did before, I will wait to see if they are worth.
3/10 for the episode, 1/10 for the show 9/10 for Elizabeth's acting.
I hope the rest of Disney marvel shows isn't as stupid as this
"So a stunt driver, a surgeon and a fry cook, what don't you know how to do? "....uh, open a door.
