You are telling me a bunch of kids hacked into a top secret computer and disabled a mech? This has got to be one the worst sequence of events I have ever had the misfortune to experience. Good fights though. lol Poor Hong Kong.
Went in with low expectations, and came out thoroughly enjoying it. Lots of action, pretty good acting, and had a good story.
If you are looking for a movie that pushes a racist agenda, this is your movie.
Holy yikers on this one here. Talk about a propaganda documentary.
Why. Am. I. Crying. Right. Now?
I watched all 17 episodes in one sitting. I think my heart is going to burst. I'm probably about to cry. I know I laughed a lot. I. Just. Can't. Deal. With. This. Pain. In. My. Chest.
I should have learned my lesson when I watched similar shows like "A Silent Voice" and "Clannad." I'm getting really tired of feeling empty and sad after watching really great works of art. While this Anime is not similar in it being completely "sad?" it does still hit you where it hurts. One full day later, and a night of rest... I still feel like crap.
edit: I'll make a short edit, since I finally finished the final episode. Based on how things are going in the Manga, I doubt there will be a second season... With that being said, I am happy it ended the way it did. I'm heartbroken, and inspired at the same time. Great slice of life anime.
I put this movie on the back burner, with expectations reaching somewhere near Fifty Shades of ____. However I am thoroughly impressed by this work of art. Definitely worth the watch.
I stuck around past the 3 episode rule, and I'm happy I did. For those that are bothered by Asta at first, just know that he gets better. The show is worth pushing past the first 10 or so episodes.
This is a movie you skip 10-15 seconds, watch for about 2 seconds, skip 10-15 seconds, watch for about 2 seconds... until the end of the movie. I finished it in about 10 minutes. That's all I feel it deserved.
If you are looking for a good action movie, you won't find it here. You will, however, find poor acting and a really poorly written script.
When he finally found out that was his mother, I laughed way harder than I should have.
This. Movie. Was. Fucking. Amazing. It was well made, and the soundtrack was just perfect.
Oh my. She is a crazy little girl isn't she?
Stunning. Mature. Intelligent.
The animation has sudden inorganic movements, which remind me of RWBY, and can be a bit disconcerting, yet somehow endearing, so I don't mind too much. I can't expect this to be this season's hit with younger audiences, but for mature viewers it hits a frequently unfulfilled craving. I am excited for more!
I pushed back watching this for a while now. I did not want to go through what I went through when I watched Clannad. Yet here I am... feeling so down after watching this amazing piece of art. It makes me wonder what kind of life I'm living, and why I feel so empty after watching Anime such as this one.
Friendship is an amazing thing, but not everyone gets to experience it... Anxiety, depression, social awkwardness, etc. This Anime really puts that into perspective, among many other things.
My final thoughts: If you have not watched this yet, or you are trying to decide whether you should, please know that this Anime is an emotional roller coaster, and you will likely cry or feel very depressed after watching this. I pushed back watching this because I did not want to cry, but I watched it tonight and have no regrets. Watch this masterpiece when you are ready, and don't force yourself into it. I'm glad I waited.
Many of my friends said not to bother with this Anime, and I'm glad I ignored them. Worth the watch, at least so far.
Roughly one year ago I watched this movie, and almost a year later and I'm still dragged to tears. This movie tugs on emotion more than the cable tugged on Melissa Lewis when trying to retrieve Mark Watney. As an avid space nerd, this movie takes all the best qualities of space movies, great CGI, amazing acting, and a pleasant emotional trip, and wraps it in a space survival bow tie. I will be watching this movie, yet again, in the future.
Not sure why I waited so long to watch this, but I'm glad I found the time to revisit this amazing anime. Funny, witty, "over the top", and most of all spectacular. There are very few anime that I binge watch all the way through in one sitting, but this was one of them.
The suspense is killing me. I need more. MORE!
I'm happy Eleanor Guthrie was traded. She is traitorous, but we all love her anyway.
And I'll go out and I'll find some more of that "Mulan" Szechuan teriyaki dipping sauce Morty...
I have to agree. This show was a gem when it was first released. It got better with time, but this season has dragged the best of it into the dirt. The characters in the show mean nothing to me anymore, and whatever emotions that captured me before, are all gone. I'm finishing it, just to finish it... but outside of that, this show is more or less dead to me. For what it's worth, the show is still not as bad as Iron Fist... which is saying something.
Talking Titans? Intelligent Titans? Creepy hidden Titans in the walls? I already knew this season was going to blow my mind,
I just did not expect it to make my whole body explode.
This show was a roller coaster of experiences. It had some GREAT more and some REALLY REALLY BAD moments. Overall this finale made me hyped for season 2, and overall this show was easily a 7.6/10
This episode hit me in the feels.
Oh. My. Goodness. The ending gave me chills. Amazing transition.
That was sick. I had to shower after this cause I was sweating so badly... lol
IP Man was in this. :D
A much better episode compared to the previous.
