negan is still the only bearable character on this show and he did the right thing at the end tbh
i love any time i get to spend with jeffrey dean morgan. but i have to ask, WHY did we just spend a whole episode looking at carol chasing a rat when there was this much to be told about negan?? they crammed all of this (presumably) important exposition into one episode so we could watch carol make soup???
also i still really hate maggie. so much.
this is like the breaking bad fly episode, if jesse was a dog, and there was a b-plot of skyler fixing her bike, and it was in the middle of a stale, miserable excuse for a tv show.
their solution to the ever-dwindling ratings seemed to be to try something new with these six pointless filler episodes. but this show never needed to try anything new, it only needed to fucking END.

besides the fact that even daryl has realised they're having the same conversation every episode, the worst thing about this one is that daryl didn't even name dog. that's a travesty. it was the most daryl thing ever, and he didn't even do it???

i loved this episode actually, it was delightfully shot and well-acted. the cinematography really stands out, it's very creative and makes this episode one of the best in a long while to me.
turns out adding the best-written, most intriguing character in the mcu to the worst-written, dullest product in the mcu does not fix your product's endless list of problems.
all four of these points go to charlie cox. i think this is what superhero fatigue feels like.
