You need to be a killer, he was told. And so a killer he became.
It's OK. I didn't need my heart anyway.
Other than the slight mishandling of Tyrell and Joanna Wellick (+ their fantastic actors), this show is really something special. I honestly don't know what we did to deserve this.
Kudos to USA for having continuous faith in the cast and crew. When I think Peak TV, Mr. Robot will be number followed closely by Watchmen and The Leftovers.
"STEVE, YOUR CHILDREN ARE HERE!" The most accurate line that's been said on the show.
– Was I, Master? Was I a worthy finale?
– No. But you put on a hell of a show.
somebody please explain what the fork just happened.
Absolutely incredible what they were able to deliver from a technical perspective. I just wish it was a little brighter, it was so dark that it was hard to see everything. A ton of great moments.
After 4 episodes: The visuals are unexpectedly beautiful but it suffers quite a lot from typical teen drama bs. But the fantasy world seemes interesting enough for me to keep watching.
The series could end here and it would be a perfect end (but boy do i hope its not) because this season was phenomenal and by far the best one yet.
When Jim died by heart broke but the post credit scene has given me some hope, because there's no way they can take the only real parent she's ever had away right??!
If only he would have just killed him instead of trying to get him to confess. That's another character I liked that is now dead in this series.
So i just finished this and wow, two words: Timothee Chalamet! He was brilliant as Elio and i wouldn't be suprised if he went up for the Oscars this year, totally deserved! Timmy's and Armie's chemistry is electrifying, without saying sometimes nothing at all, i swear i felt like i wasn't watching a movie, i was sucked right in. Oh and Mr. Perlman's speech at the end, oh and that ending! Take all the awards! This film has my heart already.
I have NEVER seen such a terrifying brutal depiction of violence.
That was soul killing stuff.
Had I known a little of the backstory I might be invested in the episode, but this was pointless
Dude. The fucking cinematography man.
It's more a movie than an episode due to its length and it's just awesome. I loved this episode and the whole show in general.
Black Mirror has this power, that relies in every detail, of showing off the raw human nature: its photography, the concept behind the plots, the actors that are very good to let us feel the obsession of the characters, even the soundtrack... everything take a huge part to the whole experience that the writers want us to feel.
Very good job!
I feel like I’ve just been yelled at for 2 hours by Adam McKay. Yeah, it's on the nose and way too obvious, but still decently funny.
5.5/10
“What Will You Have After 500 Years?”
“You.”
Nancy and Jonathan do not have chemistry. It’s exhausting that I have to suffer through this forced romance.
First off I have to call them a bunch of dirty bastards for making us wait until the last minute before they find each other.
Other than where it ended I liked it. It had some flaws and some slow spots but it was enjoyable.
That was a really good episode. Sansa not backing down for even Daenerys and in fact standing up to her. Brienne vouching for Jaime. Jaime's face every time he looked at Bran (truly, that was hilarious). Everyone's faces while Tormund talked about the giants' milk. Arya taking those heart eyes for Gendry and gettin' hers. That brief scene between Arya and the Hound. Sam giving Jorah his family's sword. SER BRIENNE OF TARTH! And a well-played, if somewhat understated, scene where John tells Dany who he really is. We got so much in this episode, and I'm so glad because there are only four episodes left!
A nice start back into the show, I like that it didn't jump straight into the 'upside down' mystery they've had going on, but instead just gave time to show what the kids and adults have been up to. The acting, score and characters are all still incredible and has set the stage nicely for the rest of what will hopefully be an incredible third season.
Thanks The Boys... 15 years watching Supernatural looking forward to seeing Jensen's ass and you guys gave us this delicious moment after only 2 episodes!
I'm not sure if I've just simply outgrown this show or if this last couple of episodes are actually this weak... I really can't get into them
I don't see why many are still confused and hate the timeline. Yeah it's all mixed but it's intentional and the bigger picture is worth it when all the perspectives are shown in the end. You don't have to be a Sherlock to understand this show wtf
Now we don't need to have a black screen saying present and past or X days/years later now do we?
Not the VIPs using opera glasses to watch the Squid Game this is TOO MUCH.
"My hand has blood"
"Ahh, mine too"
Rarely have I felt so overwhelmed by an ensemble as by this show. This episode in particular requires you not only to memorise a heap of completely new characters but also to map them onto the corresponding older versions of themselves. The fact that the show plays in a deeply white rural town in Germany doesn't help as everyone looks exactly the same.
