The first few episodes are terrible compared to the fist season. Janice is an extremely annoying character.
An amazing show overall with a few incredible episodes that make up for quite some extremely dull or overly abstract ones.
Great start to the new season but Marcus and Philip are both played in extremely pathetic ways and completely get on my nerves.
Marcus has all this bottled up overacted emotion that makes me feel he'll just break down crying all the time, not threatening at all. No way a character as strong as Naomi would fall for that poser.
Philip on the other hand looks all the time like he has nothing between his ears and the whole "mommy issue" thing as an excuse for him acting like am angry spoiled brat became annoying quite fast.
Really weak villains, I would much prefer a one-sided badass straight out of a 90s action movie than these anguished pathetic bad guys.
Really awesome first season, super smart plot, interesting characters, great pace!
Awesome season, hope the second one is just as good.
Over hyped series with a terrible ending. RahXephon is a million times better than this.
This ending was just terrible. Subtle references to religion and mythology throughout the series suddenly spiral down into some cheap therapy session designed to make otaku boys with daddy issues love themselves? Bah.
So I guess Shinji is gay, right?
Why is this supposed to be good?
The Assembly cut is so much better than the Theatrical version. Give it a shot, you won't regret it.
This show deserved 20 seasons at least... so much trash being released these days and they cancel this masterpiece after Season 1? No comments.
What a stupid episode. All the astronauts on the moon are just leisurely watching the sunrise? What the hell is this? A field trip? Meanwhile the Dutch guy gets stuck under his rover getting burned to a crisp and Molly decides to doom herself as well to go out and save him. A ton of new astronauts join the show and there's absolutely no insight into who they are and what are their backstory. They just tried to move the show forward too fast, there's a huge gap from the first season and it's feeling way rushed. Hope this improves over the next few episodes because season 1 was a true gem.
What an awesome show! Criminally underrated!
This season is so good compared to the second one. It really reminded me of awesome movies of the 90s like Vampire Hunter D.
Really great premise... wondering if episode 2 will live up to the expectations or if it will fall through.
Meh... what the hell was this all about? Beautiful art... empty plot.
This season is terrible compared to the first one. The whole Stand gimmick is totally annoying. I'm hoping the third season will get this show back on track.
Bah, she could have easily killed Kagehisa during this episode and chooses not to because he's too weak? Ridiculous...
What a great episode... once you realize Ron's story is based on the innkeeper's sister-in-law I was just left in awe. I don't think the incision on her belly would scar that quickly though, she tells Rin she would have to memorize the whole story in one night so I assume that she's talking to the passage guard the next day. Minor detail though.
Fantastic episode! This series just keeps getting better and better.
Started watching this after playing Sekiro and I must say that it complemented it quite well. I don't understand why people hate this series. The animation and character design is amazing, there are some great dialogs and interesting characters. If you want a dumb series with loads of action and ridiculously named combo moves than this is certainly not for you but if you prefer something slow, atmospheric and dark you'll enjoy it for sure.
Season 5 was going so well but this episode was terrible... complete filler with Naomi going back and forward to tweak the automated recording, something that could have been summarized in 2-3 minutes. The recording was really starting to get on my nerves and so was Naomi's overacting. I truly hope the show gets back on its tracks on the next two episodes.
Just started re-watching Season 1 while waiting for Season 5's episodes to pop up and damn, it's even better the second time around. I strongly suggest every fan of the series to go back and do a refresh!
Marco's overacting is really annoying. It's like the guy is constantly on the brink of breaking down to tears or have some hysteric episode. Other than that Season 5 has been pretty solid.
Naomi's jump through the vacuum was the most retarded scene ever. Aren't you supposed to get immediately sucked out into space if a compartment loses pressure instead of softly floating away? Ridiculous...
Season 4 was a bit stupid but this one is looking much better. Really interesting diverging plotlines. Hoping to see the crew getting back together later on to give Marcus a well deserved ass whooping.
Best plot ever... worst actors ever.
The best Star Trek series, ever! Perfect acting, dialogues, just the right amount of action, extremely interesting plot that ties into previous Star Trek series and movies. Simply amazing! Everyone complaining about the series being slow just summarizes why there are so many crap series being made these days with childish dialogues and non-stop mind-numbing action. Finally a series that caters to a smarter audience, kudos!
The initial scene in the desert was completely ridiculous. Drawing the logo on the sand with footprints to get the ship to notice you and come rescue you from the face of the planet? Seriously? The acting throughout the episode just made me cringe, really childish dialogues and humor. What a disgrace. I was looking for something as good as Star Trek: Picard but this obviously isn't it.
This generation's Jojo is even more of an annoying bastard than his grandfather, I hope Dio whips him into shape.
