Emotional support rewatch was very much needed, so here we are. Funny how a show about criminal profilers can be so comforting to watch.
Haven't laughed this much during a movie in a long time.
Read the graphic novel nearly 8 years ago when it came out. This was very different from the original story, but it stayed true to the heart of it. Really enjoyed this!
Loved it even more the second time around. The prequel trilogy and it's cast will always be my favorite.
Was planning on skipping this one in my Star Wars rewatch, but I had to watch for Qui-Gon and Jar Jar. :v_tone2:
What the fuck, man. This went from super epic to super sad way too fast.
Jacob Anderson as Louis and Sam Reid as Lestad... perfect casting. Steven G. Norfleet's portrayal of Paul is spectacular. The quotes straight from the book, I'm already obsessed with this show!
I need more stories like this from Marvel! :black_heart:
I don't know what y'all are talking about, I loved this. Jared Leto playing a doctor ÁND a vampire?? Yes, please.
Very happy that I watched this knowing we're getting a second season, because that ending was NOT okay.
Absolutely loved this show! Seeing Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen back in these roles made my heart so happy. :yellow_heart:
Best episode of the entire show. Sadie Sink absolutely killed it.
Seeing Nicole Kidman with a scar from open heart surgery.. dang. And the fact that they made it red and ugly instead of a thin white line... yes!
"A bit of both." I'm SCREAMING. :sob::two_hearts:
Not to be ~that person~ but I enjoyed the book a lot more. The cast was amazing, I just think this story works better in book format.
Those last 2 episodes completely destroyed me. What a brilliant show!
This show will always have a special place in my heart. The way it included the viewer in the story, the characters, the plot and especially the plot TWISTS... incredible. Truly one of the best tv shows of all time. The way Sam Esmail ended it was perfect. I will most definitely be revisiting this show many times throughout my life.
Zendaya as MJ, Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio, so good! And Tom Holland as Spider-Man is also really growing me. This might be one of my favorite Spider-Man movies so far. It's so good!
Well... that was perfect. The last 45 minutes of this movie made me SO happy. Freaking epic. Everything I wanted it to be and so much more.
This show is not good for my blood pressure.
Well... this was a huge surprise. I only decided to watch it 'cause Robert Sheehan is in the cast and I'll watch anything with him in it. Turns out that this might be my new favorite show of all time. I'm not sure if I can explain exactly why, but it just clicked with me. From the first episode on, I felt a connection with the characters and the story and I loved everything about it. I even restricted myself to watching 1 episode a day, just so that I could enjoy it longer. I know it sounds crazy, but it sounded legit in my head.
Can't wait for season 2. In the meantime, I'll definitely read the comic-books and re-watch season 1 a couple of times.
I signed up for a spooky horror, not THIS. I'm a wreck.
jk jk. Really enjoyed the turn it took in the last few episode. Such a good show. Now I kinda want to read the book as well...
It's been a long time since I've enjoyed an AHS season as much as this one. The first 2 episodes weren't that great, but I really enjoyed the Michael storyline. But that ending... seriously? The way they killed Michael was way too easy and cheap. He's literally the antichrist and he gets run over by a car? wow.
I started watching season 1 in May of this year and it's so weird to not have a new episode waiting for me. I already want to re-watch the whole thing. Best show ever.
I really wasn't a fan of the first few episodes of this season, but I'm loving the Michael storyline. Cody Fern's acting is superb. I thought that I would go crazy over the Murder House element of this season, but I surprisingly didn't care that much? The only characters I really cared about were Constance and Vivien . The rest felt a bit off to me somehow. idk.
This was the biggest surprise of 2018 for me. I randomly clicked on it because I liked the title. The first episode completely captivated me. The plot was so weird and surprising, I just wanted to keep on watching. The acting was a+, especially Jonah Hill, Emma Stone and Justin Theroux were brilliant. Everything about this spoke to me. It definitely isn't for everyone, but I think that if you like it, you love it.
It's been more than 2 years ago since I watched 9x06. I can honestly say that I've truly missed watching SPN. I've thought about this show SO many times since watching 9x06, it's completely ridiculous. If there weren't so many amazing shows out there that I want to watch, I would just watch this show on a loop for the rest of my life.
Not sure why it took me so long to start watching this. Peggy is such an amazing female character and one of my favorite marvel characters overall. Very happy they gave her her own show!
Sometimes you just click with a show and that was the case with me and Altered Carbon. I loved everything about it. The cast was amazing and diverse, beautifully made ... everything I want in a sci-fi show. A+.
Only on the first episode, but I already feel like it’s going to be one of my favorite Marvel shows.
