Genuinely enjoyed watching this. Sometimes 'entertaining' is all a movie needs to be.
Feels like they were trying to tell me too much only to end up telling me nothing, the writing and editing in this was just terrible. Only scene I actually enjoyed was the Scorpion vs Sub-Zero one, probably due to the fact that their faces are hidden most of the time. Acting and dialogue are as cringe as they can get.
What a tiring watch.
I don't know what bothered me more: the generic dialogue lines, the endless slow mo scenes or the camera slowly closing in on the characters when they talked. Got the impression that the director tried a little too hard to make it cult cinema and that was not it for me.
It's better than the 2017 version, definitely, but I'm not sure how much merit this deserves on its own without drawing comparisons.
Quite dull and unnecessarily long as other comments pointed out. The actors did great but that's about it.
Nice movie and a solid performance from Carey. My mistake, maybe, was reading the overexcited reviews first and going in with my expectations too high.
The girl playing Moonstar has to be one of the least charismatic actresses I've ever seen. The dialogue was painfully cringy. 4 stars for Illyana's hair lol

I swear I can't stand any more Homelander drinking milk scenes
Thought I couldn't hate anyone in this show more than I hate Homelander, then Stormfront shows up...
quite predictable... found myself caring for neither of the main characters
wendy's storyline was totally disposable
not a bad movie but you might get a little lost if you haven’t read or watched about his murders beforehand. i know the movie’s supposed to be more focused on elizabeth’s perspective but i still can’t help but feel they romanticized and humanized ted, and i’m particularly not okay with that. good acting performances overall though.
I’m not sure if the ending made the story more or less creepy...
the ending got me so excited for next episode
those were two very problematic minds
takes too long for things to happen in this movie, should've just made it shorter
such a forced and cliché ending
How can Lukas be so self-centered? Philip deserves better.
morello and her husband's scene tho... lmao
