I didn't think it would come to this, but I'm starting to like LoT more than the other arrowverse shows (especially supergirl, but that would go without saying I suppose). It just... knows what it is, if that makes sense. Arrow and Flash are just trying so hard to have these high stakes, but never actually have anything really bad happen, and if it does it's not to the right people (Felicity, please die already). And Supergirl just has constant american politics EVERYWHERE, about subjects we non-yanks couldn't give a shit about because we solved them 30 years ago... Arrow and Flash too (#feminism am I right fellow kids?), although a bit less omnipresent.
But in this episode, we had a #feminism without ever saying "feminism", without ever inventing a stupid plot just to push a narrative: the plot here naturally had women in a position of winning a struggle, while the men were baffoons, and it didn't feel forced. How it could be that hard to hire a couple of random people from the street to read your script to have an idea if something is too much or a bit forced, I will never understand. (same goes for useless and ridiculous tech lingo like in that arrow episode where somehow all the DNS servers are all in one place or something)
