Way too predictable. Not surprised by any of the 'reveals'. And again with the stupid mistakes, up to the last episode. The acting is great and the general plot is interesting and all, but the high production value doesn't make up for the added in mistakes to make the story progress. It's so lazy.
How is giving the key to Ellie a good idea?
Deserved. That's what happens when you're reckless all the time. Think about consequences for once.
Everyone keeps making stupid mistakes. Mistakes that make no sense to even be made. Aside from that it's alright. Hopefully the second season will be written better. I would give it a 7/10, but honestly those mistakes feel like lazy writing so I'm gonna be lazy too.
Waste of time. If someone told me I could skip those 40 minutes, I would do it in a heartbeat.
Of course there is an ignorant child that ruins everything.
I hate this episode so much
I wonder what Troy wrote her.
I remember watching this movie as a kid and got really excited. I wanted to watch it again, but I completely forgot the name and could therefore never find it. It just got recommended to me on Netflix and all I gotta say is I had dogshit taste as a kid.
The second half of this second season is terrible. The new characters are so poorly written. Take the sergeant for example. In the beginning, you can see he shows consideration for monsters that don't attack. He is sensical. After the time skip (i.e. the second half of the season), the sergeant disregards those beliefs and just hates them all.
On that note, all the time skip did was add plot holes that almost never got filled. Yeah sure, she killed a man, but why? And of course it was Hyun-su who came to her rescue but how did he survive being petrified? Plot armor? Do the writers just jerk each other off when they come up with story ideas? This is so ass.
Also, I hope the writers realize shifting away from Hyun-su as the main character was boring. It's as if they didn't know where to go with the story so they explored other characters.
Speaking of side characters, they are so braindead. Whenever they make a decision, I cringe. Just kill or ignore the "scientist" if he compromises the mission. And why the fuck would you trust someone in a suit in a place filled with monsters? You've seen special infectees before.
What is this writing? How does this season have a 6.2? It pissed me off so much, it's a 4 at most.
That was so beautiful. What a beautiful character. RIP Rengoku.
Sucks that it's cancelled. The ending put forward an interesting take, but I don't know how consistent that would've been. Still would've loved a third season.
I liked the concept of the story, but it should've ended at season 1.
Every episode from the following seasons creates circumstances at the beginning of the episode to aid the story. If this was an actual book, I'd understand, but it just seems like lazy writing in a screenplay.
The show was nice to watch, but I don't want to watch it any further. This seems like someone's sick fantasy.
Gave me goosebumps for minutes
Why bother with making the flashback part of the entire episode? It's not even that important and doesn't need to be segmented and interwoven with the original story. If I wanted to watch a show with a story told from two timelines I'd watch the Arrow.
Loved it. Can't wait for season 2.
MAJOR TWD SPOILER DON'T READ!
Congratulations, you just killed off the only character that made this show interesting! :D And such a fruitless death at that. At least they didn't do that to Carl. They should've just killed Nick off at the dam.
This episode is really beautiful.
Aww… I feel bad for Erwin. He never got to see the answer to his question, even though it does get answered from that cellar.
Hahahah is this the season where all the soundbytes are from?
I don't mean to offend anyone, but Ellie does not look like a kid. She looks like a dwarf. I cannot get immersed in the show. It's kinda ruining it for me. Don't get me wrong; she is a great actor and she captures Ellie perfectly, except appearance-wise. Oh well... To each their own, I guess.
Two episodes in and I'll say the show is good so far. The games have been adapted really well.
That was beautiful. Kaminari almost made me cry.
This series caters to a specific audience that need to self insert themselves as the MC. I did not like this at all. There were moments where the show was good, but it was all just so cliche. Generic anime.
Second season and still gullible as ever. You'd think they'd learn by now. The writing is so slow and dumb, almost like it's aiming to be childish.
The only good parts are when it's reaching the end.
Last season was bad and this season isn't starting to look good either. I can't even get past the first 10 minutes of this episode. Just filled with cliches from the get-go.
I was kinda hoping Billy would come to Max's rescue, but that probably would've been cliche or something.
I genuinely did not expect this show to be this good
This episode was really cute
When Jillian shared her acceptance on everything dying, even love, I actually felt that...
I was really starting to like it, but her dying made no sense. For the protagonist to get angry? Yes, that makes sense but a bit overused concept. For a paragliding hobbyist? No, that makes no sense. You would think she had some proper training. I'm just upset they killed her off so soon.
