This was a pretty fun and lighthearted movie. Nice one to watch in the Christmas period.
I do think that Curtis' death was unnecessary (and the only part of the episode that seemed rushed). This would have still been a good pilot without it.

This is the Billions that I know and love. One of the best episodes we've had since season 5.
Gosh, the writing for this show is so utterly dreadful.
I can't stand fictional TV shows bringing current world affairs into their stories and writing. If I wanted to watch things about the real world, I would choose the news or something non-fiction.
It just ruins an entire episode for me. What a shame - this would have been good if it weren't for those references.

These flashbacks are such a waste of time. The writing is a bit sloppy too.
This has to be up there as one of the worst finales to a show. It's like they took the worst parts and worst storylines from the show and amplified them. Very very disappointing.
Back to shit storylines i guess
Compared to the first episode, this is just straight-up bad - it may as well be a different show. The storyline with the girl is just not interesting, and gets rather annoying at times with her 'boyfriend', whereas the story of The Empire is much more fascinating and entertaining to me, and is where the show should focus IMO.
I really can't stand Wendy.
Fuck Alicia. Fuck Will. Fuck the writers. They better fix this nonsense in the next season. What a joke of a storyline. This is how you ruin a perfectly good story.
