I've seen almost 15 seasons of the traitors so far and I still can't understand why every season there are contestants who say that they trust others for 100%.
I love this show, but the 'problem' with it is, that the faithfulls that are the worst in finding the traitors, stay the longest (or better: are being kept the longest) in the show. That was certainly the case in the first season of the UK version (and probably every other international version), but also with Mollie this season. And the 'fun' thing is that they always think that they did brilliant in getting this far, while it's only because they're most of the time clueless and therefor no danger to the traitors.
I was a bit surprised that Jaz wasn't killed off earlier, but I guess the reason for that was that he couldn't find other faithfulls that suspected Harry, so he, sort of, had to stay low profile. And he even almost pulled it off, if it wasn't for Mollie's unbelievable shocker.
Poor, clueless Mollie, wondering why she is still in the game...
Wow, that Vinny is a real *sshole.
And why are they only traveling in Spanish-speaking countries (so far)? That has been a huge advantage to those who speak that language.
That's a lot of Flemish speaking people working for the Dutch police. :)
Didn't like Toto's reaction to Vasseur's justified complaints after Sainz got a grid penalty..
And what was the reason again Charles wasn't allowed to do some donuts? Did it have to do with fuel levels?
I know this isn't a season overview, but it's still strange that the only moments we see Max a bit longer is when he struggles in Singapore (this and the previous episode).
And where was Franz Tost?
Edit: oh, and stroopwafels!
Lando breaking(?) the clapperboard at the beginning of the episode should have been a warning for things to come...
A shame they ended with the Silverstone race and didn't show more of the McLaren season, like Piastri winning the sprint in Qatar after they qualified first and second in the sprint shootout.
"Only two things will be left roaming the Earth after the next apocalypse: coackroaches and Frank Gallagher."
What?! They're shopping at Cloud 9? Would've been hilarious if one of the Cloud 9 employees would have been in this episode.
This was the sort of story-telling that they usually do on Drive To Survive: they made it look like that final sprint between Thomas and Gaudu would decide who would get that final podium place. But in reality, Thomas already had a 3 minute lead on Gaudu in the GC and also had the advantage that there would be an individual time trial two days later (Thomas is a far better time trialist and would eventually win another two-and-a-halve minutes on Gaudu). So, it was almost impossible for Thomas to lose that 3rd spot, but for the (French) narrative it's probably better if it looks like Gaudu just missed out.
That was a perfect ending to a great season: Sam all brightly-coloured after wearing grey outfits every episode, the editing of the Exercise task (with the connecting screams/sighs/etc) and to top it off the hilariously Fawlty Towers-esque Taskmaster Hotel task!
Oh, come on! They have trouble calculating .8 x 900? Really?!
Ok, that was a bit awkward, Jon asking Tyler how it was "... to finally win a leg?"
Haha, great to see 'Michael' and 'GOB' together again!
Unfortunately, the amount of sponsoring is getting a bit out of hand!
This was a typical Netflix/DTS way of telling a story: After the rumors and accusations we see Verstappen struggling during the Singapore GP. It looks like it's all gone wrong for Red Bull (Verstappen being totally exhausted after the race, Horner looking dejected), while all other teams (Ferrari, McLaren, even Mercedes) seem to be happy about their performances, sort of implying that Red Bull got what they deserved for 'cheating'.
But what they 'forgot' to tell is that:
- Red Bull actually won the race with Perez (We don't even see him during the race), so no sour faces at Red Bull at all.
- ALL drivers were drained after the race, since Singapore is considered to be one of the toughest races on the calendar due to the high humidity and temperatures.
- Mercedes only finished ninth (Hamilton) and fourteenth (Russell), both behind Verstappen.
It's a bit strange to see that final race without seeing or even mentioning the winner of that race (As if he didn't even participate). And why was Sebastian Vettel's departure from F1 given this little attention? A four-time world champion driving his final race should get way more screen-time. And we also hardly saw Bottas, Stroll, Latifi, Ocon or Zhou (only his crash during the British GP) this season. A pity I think.
Oh, and I wouldn't mind seeing more of the drivers' interaction (Loved all the banter), although I can understand that it wouldn't add much to the episode storylines.
Ha! I always thought Luther Vandross was Dutch! :)
By far the scariest scene in all seasons of Fargo so far? Varga "picking" his teeth!
Man, you gotta love Ron Swanson, .. ehm.. I mean Karl Weathers! :)
The song that's being played when Rebecca realises John isn't the one for her, is Aimee Mann's "Wise Up", which originally played a big part in "Magnolia", the 1999 movie from director Paul Thomas Anderson, that was mentioned by Ted when he was talking with Dani Rojas earlier in the episode. (Great movie, btw!)
Oh, and, we're not rude, we're Dutch. :)
This is very strange, but there is a guy among the contestants, who you almost never see. You never see him during the challenges and there is almost never a close-up of him. In this episode his screen time during the banishment was less than a second, and I actually had to rewind to see that he had entered the room for breakfast. I don't even know his name after eight(!) episodes, but he's still in the game! What's the deal with this guy?! Is he one of Chloe's spirits? :)
I'm always wondering with this sort of programs how difficult it must be to keep the outcome of the show a secret to the tv audience? When you see how many people were filming and encouraging the contenders in Tennessee, that looks impossible.
I'm glad with Derek and Claire as the winners, although I wouldn't have minded if the twin-sisters would have finished first. They were pretty amazing.
A shame the team that got covid was eliminated from the race earlier in the season, but that's probably a better solution than in the Australian version, where teams were allowed to miss a couple of legs and return to the race after recovering from the virus, which actually gave them an advantage in the race.
Hmm, probably not the best idea to include images of the Heysel Stadium disaster (where 39 people lost their lives) into this episode.

Haha, who would think that popping a balloon would be the highlight of this season!?
Kevin being hilarious:
"I'm going to begin my cruel abuse."
"You never buy stamps!"
Didn't like the Ian-Fiona storyline. That was a bit over the top. The ending was good, though.
Haha, what a great episode: Saint Francis, digging up Monica and Bart from Kentucky! :)
"For she's the fellow, for she's the fellow..." :)
Emma: "I'm sorry. I just think we're in a really, really difficult place."
Sally: "You mean Scotland?"
Liked the opening credits with all of Colin Robinson's pictures deleted, cut-out, 'post-it-ed', etc.!
