The way marvel has been doing lately, it's so nice to see something be actually glorious. What an ending. Imo one of the best character arcs in marvel. Sometimes you don't need huge fights or long cheesy dialogues and this ending proved it. Beautiful CG set-pieces followed with a great Tom Hiddlestion performance filled with poignancy and meaning to the brim. That's storytelling

Or just you know, the bleakness of life. But I don’t particularly like that way of thinking and depiction of our time on earth. In the bleakest of moments, in the most boring routines we should find moments to light up, find moments to be silly.

aw man, the clipping black values, the scenery, the whole deal with it being a Dogma 95 film contributes to it’s uneasiness, to how haunting, disturbing and bleak it is. It feels and is raw, and Emily Watson as Bess is amazing.
