I don't know how many times I've seen this film but it never gets old, just gets better.
Robert Zemeckis has done a great job on this film. The film tells a story of a not so bright guys life and all the adventures he takes, the events that take place in his life, people he meets on the way, and his best friend that he grows up with Jenny.
They were like peas and carrots.
It shows you that he runs like the wind blows and It's got a bit of every genre, bit everything for everyone, It sets of sad and happy emotions, It's quotes are beautiful and always gives off positive vibes and good advice.
The picture in this film shows how beautiful are world really is, shows there's much more to explore and I think all actors did fantastic and had great chemistry, Also Tom Hanks showed off a great performance to show how great he is as an actor and he's proven that in future films ahead of this film.
I was sad that they've not made a book on this film, would love to read other than watch as the book they’ve based it on was about a guy called Forrest Gump that crashed landed on an island, where he was captured by cannibals but only the name Forrest Gump followed.
Life is like a box of chocolates because you don't know what you're gonna get. Well I'm glad i got to see this film for the first time years back because It's honestly a film to watch before you die and the best film I’ve ever seen.
Knowing the bad ratings, bad reviews and that it topped the budget on most films in the cinema, I went into it with an open mind and came out of it with lots of disappointments, like watching the video and getting the 7 days to live curse so go with the ratings & reviews, you won't be missing anything good but I'll leave that to you to watch the video tape yourself. I got exited for a few years after hearing this film was in development being a fan of the Japanese classic and now I wish it was still in development, re-done, the right cast or some of the same cast, more effort into it, better effects, more action, a lest be creepy, didn't mash the story up or rush it and with the original story without the crap twist on the curse/story that just didn't feel like the Ring to me. I didn't think much of the other American version of 2 but lest they tried to live up to the Japanese versions that hands down were a horror but this was a waste of my time & money and needs to be thrown down the well because it's one ugly piece of work like the spirit herself.
Well it wasn’t anything great, had the same old gags, story and some characters were a little cheesy, few new ideas but didn’t fail to make me laugh at moments specially the dancing scene and I think it had most of the best parts in It’s trailer.
I think they should of ended it with the first film of the franchise because they’ve not done any better, they always try too hard with later franchie sqeuals, always rush them, not all thought, some can turn out good but for some in the end it becomes too cheesy for me.
It’s a shame that he pronounced a few days back that he wasn’t gonna do anymore mr bean, understandable from the point of his last film (holiday) because it was terrible and has nothing on the first, just another cheesy rushed film without enough work put into it but I still think he’s got it still for a mr bean mini series or christmas special seeing as you could notice all the way through this film mr bean coming out in his character and don’t get me wrong, he did great, the film just didn’t live up to his talent in my opinion.
Well it's not as bad as they made out to be, and not as good as they made it out to be, and it's got it's pros, and it has it's cons, but more pros than cons of course. This film had lots of humour, and was full of fast paced action from beginning to finish, and the graphics were a clean sheet, and that's how i like it. I liked the sound tracks in the film, good choice of music, right choices for the right scenes, and it made it for me. The cast were all great for their characters, I was disappointed on the less dialogue, and camera time from some of the squad that i'd of love to see more of, like I always say, I prefer comic over film any day, and also I could see that Will Smiths character got focused on more than the others, i can live with that, and don't get me wrong, dead shot is a good character, and will did great as always. I was really impressed with Margot Robbie's character (Harley quinn) I think she pulled it off massively, and she did have a lot of time on camera so it kinda balanced with dead shots time on camera, so she should, because its her first time on live action, and she's a big character, also she brought the comedy, she fitted in nicely. I didn't like the witch, she just didn't fit in the film, too cheesy in parts for my liking. There's been a lot of hate on the Joker, how he looks, how Jared would play him, comparing him to other jokers, well i thought it he was okay, not great, not rubbish, just okay for me, to be honest i don't think he got enough camera time to show a lot more of himself, scenes were too short, and that's one of the other cons in the film that i was disappointed about. Could it be better? yes it can, Would i recommend it.. of course, but go into with an open mind.. 7/10
I wouldn't go with the negative opinions towards this film, go with your own and with an open mind so lest give it a try if you're a fan of Jackie Chan's latest work like Police Storys, Rush Hours and Shangai's and it also had a mix of Jack Ass because of johnny's casting that i think makes a great double act for Jackie other than chris tucker, owen wison and we'll forget eddy in 'Spy' because that was a bad movie If you loved all them movies then this is all them movies on a wacky, jack ass, road trip across the beautiful views of hong kong with a twist.. To be honest i went into this film thinking it's going to be very cheesy but it proved me wrong, it was a fun heartwarming action packed comedy and i think Jackie still has it with his slapstick stunt kung fu comedy that i think only he does best. I'm glad they didn't just focus on his fighting, and brought him to life more in the very funny script along side a another funny and great actor Johnny Knox. I think he's a great actor and has come far also proud that he got an oscar for his work.. he deserves it.. just think he's broke most of his bones to do his films.. and he's real, and not fake.. now that's someone that doesn't give up on his goals so go into the film with that view.. I can't wait to see more of his upcoming work.. thank you again netflix for another good movie :P
