even though the story felt kind of forced, this is the best episode so far! going to miss pb&j. loving the car jamming session, it gave me a strong lonely island vibe
WHAT KIND OF ENDING WAS THAT?!!!! I NEED CLOSURE
i will miss the way Andre Braugher deliver his lines :broken_heart:
it's a crime that this show was cancelled... this is the best Green Gables adaptation
the story is all over the place, both literally and figuratively. the story keeps moving from one timeline to another, and it seems like the characters can teleport wherever. the writing is messy and i have so many questions (like; so why the suitcase? is the han tae-san alive or not?? what about eddie kim (edit: i swear i wrote this before i watched episode 16. now I'm very annoyed because the last 20 minutes was just absurd)
interesting concept but weak writing
the bromance is better than the actual romance
THIS SHOW IS GREAT <3
it's not always that I find a kdrama that i like, but this one got me hooked from the first episode. the story, the chemistry, the intrigue...
while there's no shocking plot twist and the plot is easy to guess -- not to mention, that ending that's such a fan service!!-- i like it nonetheless.
anyways, I'm officially in love with park hyung-sik now. ( ω )
note to self: I'll probably regret binging 8 episodes until 2 am and i have t work this morning ╰(‵□′)╯
Edit 3 days after I finished Happiness:
I still feel bubbly and can't move on from this series, even after watching all 20 episodes of Hwarang (2017) and One Ordinary Day (2021, Kim Soo-hyun).
I only listen to the OST these past days(shout out to Joe Layne - What Lies Ahead and Isaac Hong - Pain).
I swear the last time I felt like this was after Reply 1988, and it took 20 2-hour-long episodes to make me feel that way. So if Happiness can make me feel this way with only 12 episodes is a great feat and they deserve to be on my top drama list!
I need help
I'm so happy it's back!!!
I'M LAUGHING AT THE IN MY BLOOD INSTRUMENTAL BACKGROUND MUSIC
9.5/10. This is one of the best episodes in this series. I love Yoda with all my heart.
it's a good thing that this drama doesn't drag on with only 4 episodes. but i need more backstories of their 19 years of friendship please! and also more when they are apart!
i shouldn't have cried this much!! the romance plot is unnecessary, give me more of their friendship/family
I'm here for no other reason than to watch Hyung-sik in suits and sneakers
Fair story but most of the characters have at least 50% sociopath traits in them (except for Hyun-yi)
First impression: just a Marvel's version of DC's Constantine
I've only watched 6 episodes. The story is intriguing but I don't like the color grading.
This episode hits me hard especially after Bojack's speech to the bride on loneliness and being loved by someone, rather than liked.
I was expecting more. This is a bit boring
stayed up until 3am to finish this. It's lighthearted and funny!!! you can guess the plot so you don't need to think.
my favorite part is how the main characters (Gu Won and Cheon Sa-rang) act like the adults they are. no unnecessary jealousy and childish insecurity in their relationship.
This is one of my top kdrama for sure!! I rarely like fantasy drama because of the ridiculous story, but the Alchemy of Souls is really good.
The first season was exhilarating, the second season made my heartache from the romance.
Also the visuals are unmatched.
Top top top top top
compared to the young lady and a gentleman, this drama managed to put in all the cliches but in a good way.
it's hilarious as well!! but i hate the finale where they just skip 1 year and rush everything
Love this!! If I had to pick 1 thing that I like the most, it had to be the fighting choreo
entertaining! many life lessons. the ending wasn't what i expected, but it was ok. can't get the shampoo song out of my mind
park hyung-sik. the og wooga squad. funny moments here and there
would rate this 10/10 a tearjerker. I love Ji Jin-hee.
this would be my go-to comfort when I lost someone
cry rating 10/10, one of the best in kdrama
i'm in love again! feel so happy watching this
Baba Voss: 100/10
Edo Voss: 10/10
Sibeth: -9999/10 (I had enough of her in 1 season. Please don't let her be in season 3)
i'm crying from episode 9. not sure this is the ending I wanted with everyone leaving and the squad breaking up... but goodbye is inevitable.
I'm sad but at least Joanna Newsom and Dan Goor's cameos cheer me up a bit
