One Piece: 22x1100 Powers on a Different Level! Luffy vs. Lucci!

That was amazing! Luffy is officially on the list of "unfuckwithables".

In Treatment: 1x37 Alex: Week Eight

I see why Glynn Turman won an Emmy for his role in this show. This episode is so heart wrenchingly good.

One Piece: 22x1089 Entering a New Chapter! Luffy and Sabo's Paths!

You can tell the whole vibe has changed from this episode. After the journey so far, it's kinda nice that the world has pretty much changed for good and Mugiwara no Ichimi are at the center of it, but they're still being idiots haha

The Devil's Advocate

The reason Al Pacino's satan character in this movie is so scary is because he's just a smooth talking normal person. Too relatable.

Watchmen: 1x09 See How They Fly

What a satisfying ending. I have never been a person to say I don't want more of a good thing but I hope they don't do another season of it. Lesson learnt: In the end, wearing a mask is, at best, a temporary measure that can stop the bleeding but bring no real healing. Healing will only occur when the minority can walk unmasked.

Gun Shy

It is quite refreshing to see Liam Neeson play a role that's so out there and quirky. The movie shows us another side of those we consider invincible. It cuts through the facade and explores the idea that at the end of the day, even those we think indestructible are human after all with cheesy desires like growing tomatoes and normal afflictions like incontinence . Gun Shy is a must watch for all fans of good cinema.

Kati Kati

Kati Kati is what I might call a lean film because the story is told as quickly as possible without losing any important element. The story was daring, well-paced and delightfully authentic carried on the shoulders of a stellar cast. The soundtrack was apt, with mellow afro tunes giving more credence to the story (more good music from Kenya please).

It's a small film presenting a big idea about the philosophy of life and death.

Legion feels like nothing else on TV right now. You might want to stop watching it between episode 2-4 but don't stop. It pays off. The show is legitimately terrifying and trippy as hell but maintains a balance between both. That Noah Hawley (Fargo TV show) is majorly involved in the making of Legion gives me hope we might have something great here. It's also a good thing the show is on FX who seem more willing to take a chance on shows regardless of low ratings (The Americans).

The Pianist

The cinematography was scenic and the subject matter was aptly portrayed which ranks Roman Polanski as one of the best in the film-making industry. However, I found the main character of the story weak in such infuriating ways. Adrien Brody is a wonderful actor but his character could have done better given the scope of his network of influence, his skill and expertise as a pianist and as one of the few people fortunate enough to escape the terror of the Nazis. I can't help but wonder what would have transpired had Henryk been the one that got pulled out of that death train by the Jewish Police officer instead. Maybe we'd have gotten a more inspirational story.

I have only watched 4 episodes of this show but I am already hooked! It's like Firefly, only better.
