Loki is my favourite Marvel character so I was really looking forward to this. What a disappointment it was unfortunately....
They’ve turned Loki into some kind of comic relief, he is completely out of character and the humor and jokes are terrible.
The pacing is bad, the balance of power changes all the time (at times Loki can use powerful magic, at others he can be pinned down by a couple of humans), the dialogue is simple, the fighting is all over the place.
The ending doesn’t really explain much either.
As others have commented, it feels like this series is more focused on establishing the idea of a multiverse for future films than on Loki.
The fact that it has already been renewed for a second season shows how popular the character is and that people want to see more of him. But not like this...
Good performances by Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman and Dafne Keen. Lots of blood and gore (as there should be wherever Wolverine is involved). But.....the pacing was slow and the villains were lame which made the movie kinda boring.....
I don't get what all the hype is about. It's an ok show, nothing special.
I really wanted to like this but it’s just so bad...
They completely destroyed the lore. Why make these series when you don’t even have the rights to the books???
Apart from that the acting and dialogues are poor. Elves are just people with pointy ears, you don’t get the sense that they are ‘something more than human’ like in the movies or the books.
Anyone could tell from the start who Sauron is and who the Stranger is.
The only good part was the last ten minutes of the last episode where they made the three rings. But it doesn’t justify watching a whole terrible season just to get there.
Weakest Marvel movie I’ve watched so far....unfortunately...
The movie felt kind of...I don't know...childish? After how epic Endgame was, it just doesn't feel like it lives up to it's predecessors.
I really liked Mysterio and had high hopes for him but I was kind of let down since I believe they could have made better use of him. The illusion fight with Spider-Man was pretty cool though.
I definitely need to watch it again and see if I might change my mind.
The last 30 minutes are really good and interesting. But getting there is slow and tedious, i almost fell asleep.
plus they never explain why the aliens abducted all those people and why they suddenly decided to let them come back
A very enjoyable film! The plot is simple and straightforward with no real twists but the great cast manage to elevate the movie from mediocre to good.
It delivers on the comedic part a lot better than most comedies lately.
It’s definitely worth the watch at the cinema and I actually can’t wait to see it again!
As someone who's read the books I was really looking forward to this but unfortunately the series falls short...
Too many things have been changed or are missing.
Vital information is simply revealed way too soon, you don't even get a chance to piece the clues together and figure things out for yourself. There is no mystery, no suspense.
I'm not satisfied with the portrayal of some of the characters either (Lyra, Lee, Yorek)
The opening sequence is amazing though!
The Golden Compass movie had it's flaws but overall it is much closer to the first book.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Based on the last season of the original, I was expecting this to be pretty bad as well. The final episode feels a bit off but overall ‘New Blood’ is actually quite good!
It made me realise how much I’ve missed Dexter and I think it’s time to rewatch the whole show!
87%??? Seriously??? The first season is so boring... I hope it gets better later on
edit: I gave it another chance and kept watching and it grew on me. It has its ups and downs and it pisses me of sometimes but If you're into zombie movies/shows you're going to like this one.
The cast is really good and the characters they bring to life are interesting. That's mainly what's kept me watching the series.
I didn’t expect much and somehow I was still surprised by how bad this is...
The way it's shot is truly amazing but other than that it's just another war film.
It's so bad I don't know where to start...
The timeline is kinda confusing at first but you can figure it out later on, it could have been portrayed so much better but that's the least of this show's problems.
It presumes that viewers have read the books or played the games and so many things are left unexplained about the magic and history of this world and the way it all works.
I like these type of shows/movies and had high hopes for this one but now I don't think i'll bother watching season 2...
The original conveys so many powerful feelings! This is just a soulless copy...
So many memorable quotes are missing and the voice acting is bad...
I'm going to watch the original again and try to forget I ever watched this!
The only thing worth mentioning is the cgi. The movie is indeed visually stunning.
We’ve seen this movie a hundred times already. Now we get to see it with Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.
It’s an ok action movie if you don’t have anything else to watch. Otherwise it’s not worth spending two hours on this.
Seriously what did I just watch.. can't believe people are recommending it to those who liked Lost.
The only thing good about this was the actors, they did an amazing job, especially the protagonist.
The premise is interesting but it only manages to keep you engaged for the first episode, other than that the plot is all over the place, just a bunch of crazy people doing crazy things, and the pacing is terrible.
The definition of mediocrity...
The kid was good though!
This has got to be the worst movie of 2021....
I remember watching this movie as a kid and thinking it was ok.
I decided to rewatch it after reading the book and now I think that it’s absolutely terrible. They’ve made a complete mess of the story and the characters. It’s like someone read a short summary about the book and decided to make a movie based just on that.
The book was magical. This movie is not...
What did I just watch.... absolutely terrible
Not great but not terrible either. Better than the Netflix version anyway.
Rewatching this masterpiece 10 years later and it's still so good!!!
One of the best movies of all time without a doubt!!!
If the creatures' hearing is so good shouldn't they be able to hear people's heartbeat and breathing?
How did the kids drive the car without being heard??
Interesting idea for a movie bu it feels like it's missing something...
I loved this movie when I was still a child! So many years later I finally got to see the stage production live. It was an amazing experience that made me appreciate this movie even more!
Emmy Rossum is incredible and Gerard Butler will always be my favourite Phantom!!!!
Interesting idea with a lot of potential!
it's basically the complete opposite of Superman
Could've been a lot better though (maybe if they focused more on the sci fi and less on the horror)
A terrible waste of time
I put off watching this because of the negative stuff I heard from others.
Turns out I really liked the movie, it's quite an enjoyable addition to the Star Wars franchise!
Legion is a beautiful work of art!
One of THE BEST tv shows ever!!!
Loved it the first time, I'm re-watching it now and I'll definitely re-watch it again some day!!!
