I understand the complaints and I agree with most of them... but this still got me in the feels ;_;
Lee You-mi sure knows how to play the most bright friendly character (in Squid Game) and now the most hateful b**ch XD
Was hoping this would be more into why Rob and Ryan purchased the club together, but nah instead we get someone womansplaining about masculinity
More like Garden Of Feet.
This may have been a good episode of a great documentary, but I can't imagine many Wrexham fans wanting to remind themselves of this match XD
Phew, what a lip sync. Kween and Bev defo needed a reminder about drag not being a contact sport tho XD
Even ignoring the whole how dumb the whole ordeal is... this just isn't a funny episode.
I really feel like Dalton's couple of Bond outings are some of the more forgotten out of all the 007 films, as in I barely hear anyone talk about them. Which is a shame because I remember really enjoying this one when I last watched it. But upon watching it again, now with judgemental eyes... well I should say that the action scenes are still really good. Has that perfect mix of fun and dramatism. Unfortunately, the plot and characters let this adventure down by their forgetability. Even as I type this log, I am trying to piece together what this film was all about.
Finally, an episode revolving entirely around Yor’s butt. Spy X Family is back and on fine form!
Man, Jenkin went through an entire series of punishments in one day...
Someone did tell Orson Wells that magic tricks don't work if you're cutting to two different angles in a movie? Right?
Was scared for Anita after the judge's comments. Felt for sure she was going to be Bottom 2...
Oh ouch, that dance-off was painful to watch. Double the car crashes!
It a fine enough watch, but I can't help but feel like the arcs featured here work better as TV Episodes than a feature length film. Certainly because of the amount of times Shinji wants to call things quits.
Urgh, they think we still care about Bauer's family... >_>
Hey wait a minute, Spectre totally ripped off Goldmember's big plot twist!
The most iconic series of Video Game trailers ever made.
Oh lord. Oh my freaking lord, this was awful. Everything from the plot to the main villain's dorky as hell super suit. I was hoping to even give the CGI some leeway remembering that it's a early 00's film but... yeah there are some effects here that are just terrible, including some really pointless camera effects and super random slow-mo showcasing some effects at their worst. Add in some really jarring jump cuts and you have a visual nightmare. Sigmund Freud.
Finally made it to a Bond film released after my birth. Feels like a long while since I could last say that I've watched more than one great Bond flicks consecutively but here we are. Top notch action and characters. A Bond adventure that's part evolved for the post-Cold War era, yet still mostly familiar to 007's Cold War escapades. Although I do have to ask... why isn't Alan Cumming's more mocked alongside other oddities/hilarities belonging to this franchise? Somehow managing to sound more like a foreigner putting on a Scots accent rather than the other way around.
Finally, a return to form for the Bond series. High-action drama with some spice of comedy. Lame main villain and a plotline involving this film's Bond girl's husband going nowhere aside, this was a suprise how good this 007 outing was.
aka George Lazenby's "How To Get Away With Lying On Your CV".
A movie so bad, the title sequence would rather show clips from the previous 007 flicks. It's quite a surprise that out of all the flaws this movie has, Lazenby's acting is far, far from the worst of them. Sure it's obvious he hasn't got the experience for such a high budget, super hyped film such as Bond; he hasn't got the acting range required for the character, although with high exception for the really dark, sad ending. Production-wise, we've gone back to one fake punch per shot that was in Dr No and Thunderball, which seriously ruins what could have been an excellent first fight scene for Lazenby's Bond. Story is pretty barebones; it's just Bond chasing after Blofield despite M's wishes which... means nothing. Granted they do make an effort to make is like this film's Bond Girl Tracy which are the parts of the movie that saves it from crapness. It's good to see an actual relationship between Bond and the girl rather than "Bang me because plot says so" or the wonderfly aged "Bang me or I'll tell on you". This film wasn't a painful experience, just a boring one.
Despite continuing Dr. No's down to earth-ness, it is a much faster (ie: better) paced film. Not to mention, it actually develops it's villains rather than occasionally mention him and then have him appear in the final 20 mins. By gosh, does this film love playing the 007 theme song over and over again, especially in the first half-hour where James does some mundane things. Also what's with that glaring jump-cut in the last scene? But despite these nitpicks, From Russia With Love builds on the foundations Dr. No set up and heavily improves upon it. Better storytelling, better acting, better action. The true groundwork for what would become one of cinema's greatest franchises.
til WW2 warships are all lesbians.
Collision looks like a fun event. Ring looked more like a hugathon than a game of physical strategy. Hopefully next week's new event has the former's quality
Well this documentary didn't age quite so well. Wonder how each celeb in this piece would react if someone was to show their tributes toady...
Darn it, not another Third Impact!
Cool practical gore effects and some decent camera work. Now if only they could've made a good movie out of it..
I could name so many candidates I wanna send to Monster Island...
I could go for some lumber right now...
Last couple minutes still hurts me to this day...
