In Granny and Clyde, Granny May, after getting caught by WordGirl yet again, pretends to the police to be injured. Being fooled by Granny, the police lets her go. Thinking that she is hurt, Mr. Botsford unknowingly serves as Granny May's getaway driver when she embarks on a crime spree.
