On one hand it's a classic case of the show using the fantastical to heighten the real, unabashedly embracing its medium and genre as something to heighten its themes. On the other that ending is weird and seems to pull away from actually taking a deeper look on the relationship than what we've already seen. I also don't think the Speckle Figs plot line quite landed, just needed something more to sell it. On the other other hand, Scharpling was great. And honestly I'm still not sure how much everything in the real world is affecting how I see these last episodes, so. Shrug! It's good!
