So erm....#TriggerPoint who else was screaming WHY would would you turn on any switch anywhere in that place ? and why would you RELEASE the cordon before you'd completed the number plate check ?
Helping to move the plot along I guess....also they seemed so lax and took numerous unnecessary risks

Not as good as I was expecting.
Obviously they were trying to stuff as many black actors into one series as possible. Fortunately they were all pretty good actors except the top cop - she was annoying but that might have been down to the crappy dialogue she was left with.
The big finale was unfortunately predicable.
If you're a fan of Line Of Duty, then this will be right up your alley. Vicky McClure returns as Lana Washington ("Wash"), a hard boiled "explo" or Explosives Officer. The plot moves along steadily, revealing a series of false flags and decoys until the police lower their guard and mayhem ensues. Spoiler alert: one of our lead characters doesn't make it to the credits but is somehow in the next 3 episodes?? (maybe as a flashback/backstory rememberance???) or he's built from much sturdier stuff than a regular mortal! Looking forward to seeing how this one unfolds, but expect at least a plot twist or 3 before we're finished. Excellent writing and production values make this new series one to savour, hopefully it'll garner the praise it deserves to lock in a 2nd season (fingers crossed)!! 8.5/10, I'm hooked!!

Regrettably, I have had to drop my overall rating of this show from 8/10 to a 6/10
The first series fantastic. A real edge of your seat thriller but the 2nd series - wow it’s really let the show down. Every aspect of it was simply boring. What a shame!

Dull unbelievable tripe. Gone down the American route of over the top nonsense with an average cast. Won't be watching anymore.
The first episode is excruciatingly slow but if you stick with it, it picks up steam. The characters don’t have a lot of depth and the performances fit the characters. It is suspense driven not character driven. Nothing terribly exciting about this series but it is a different agency of law enforcement we don’t see very often. I give this series a 7 (okay) out of 10. [Terrorist Drama]
