Wow. Chris Carter and Frank Spotnitz return to elaborate on the dropped plot thread of these alien markings. The previous episode that involved this plot is one of my most disliked of the mythology episodes, so it was surprising to see them return to it, considering the plot subject was seasons ago or something. But at least they're wrapping up this plot thread and it's no longer dropped.
But they did drop the alien who was supposed to have been wtih that psychic kid. Last we saw him he was on his own. Maybe it just returned to the other aliens...
I don't like the plot about William needing to die.
I don't like how this ties into Mulder and i don't like all the importance around William and the religious mythology, and i don't like Scully being parted from her baby. I don't like William being kidnapped. I don't like any of this.
I want to quit watching Season 9 because I can't take anymore of the alien mythology. Everyone has been reduced to whispering cry babies. In this episode, a second spaceship is found (see Season 7's "The Sixth Extinction") and baby William is kidnapped and I don't care anymore.

All the plot around Scully's baby is just insufferable... And even the episodes about Alien Myth becomes absolutely boring.
Oh! Don't forget the "super soldier", another writing mistake since season 8 that apparently erases everything about the alien invasion.
