This was... interesting. Several scenes of the episode felt like outtakes from an unaired Twin Peaks episode (David Lynch), while others were a bit embarrassing. It could've been so much more, but it wasn't terrible.
Another episode about a cult...already!?! This was okay even though it was dreamy, drug-trip stuff. This is Doggett's first encounter, solo, with something he can't explain. Something that affects him directly. The "third eye" premise made this cooler. This is pretty gruesome, though. Doggett and Skinner are the main characters. Scully is barely in it. The Lone Gunman make an appearance, for exposition mostly and I suppose to make it feel a bit more like an X-Files episode.

the third eye! reminds me of Tien Shinhan from Dragon Ball Z.. the dream sequence was cool, very David Lynch-like!
