Yea that's just.. Messed up :joy:
Strange and gory story of a man who lives off of eating cancer and can regenerate himself. This involves a twist ending concerning Scully.

Ah yes, the inattentive driver who got her partner and a patient killed is back on the job a day after with a head injury and probably grieving/wrecked with guilt.
This is a solid episode carried by an interesting premise with a nice coda organically (ha) building upon the extended persistent (of sorts) world. The execution is... okay. A lot of interesting things could've happened. This series doesn't do a good job of wrapping things up... and the primary character made several unbelievable decisions (based on what was presented) that could've been easily worked around - and in a manner that would've been more intelligent and satisfying.
Given the world presented to us, many of the characters introduced during this show would've absolutely been co-opted into one the numerous shadowy organizations affiliated with the ubiquitous powers-that-be. One of the many interesting dark alleys my mind traveled down saw the main character becoming the director of an Oncology department at a leading research clinic cum slash care provider, backed, of course, by a melting pot of black op government agencies and our favorite cigarette smoking man - but one that also did good. Granted, this is if the episode didn't devolve as it progressed, mutating into something lesser - a disease the majority of intriguing ideas presented on this show unfortunately succumb to. Also, the showrunners missed the opportunity to cast Bruce McCullough in the lead role. Apologies.
This is one of the better episodes up to this point.
