I love gory stuff and have a strong stomach, but even I had a hard time when they were hacking up the walker with the axe and smearing his body parts all over themselves. I think Glenn said it best: barf
3 things I loved about this episode Merle getting crazy for being uncuffed by T-Dog, the dramatic drop of T-Dog to the key of Merle, and Glenn enjoying the ride of that muscle car by the end of this episode.
Above all of those things that I enjoy the most is the use of bits and pieces of the walker Rick killed to camouflage their scent to the other live walkers. That is so brilliant idea that later on they will use it again.

I love the plot twists of this episode.
The second episode is Season 1, "Guts" is more intense and more action-packed. The first episode dealt with character development, now the second episode allows more action to come across. I like the name of this episode because it's a very pivotal part of the episode and the name alone will get your guts wrenching.
This episode has Rick banding up with another group of survivors who were scavengers. But they get trapped in a department store that is surrounded by zombies.
Overall, this is a great episode, maybe a little less quality than the first but nonetheless still entertaining. I rate this episode 9/10.
