7/10 on a classic Simpsons scale. Lots of laugh, and the squishee bender in particular is a lot of fun. I like that it was a story about Homer and Bart's relationship at its core, and there were some sweet and hilarious moments. But Homer was at his loudest and most boldly abrasive here, which is fine for the character sometimes, but gets to be too much after a while. And this, at the end of the day, was more about the jokes than the story, which is fine, it's a comedy show after all.

"Boy-Scoutz 'n the Hood" is a pretty good episode that sees Homer, Bart, Ned and Todd standard at sea during a rafting trip. While this is an enjoyable episode with some solid gags, I felt Homer was way too mean-spirited and abrasive in this one. It started to become annoying toward the end. In saying that, this is a return to quality after a poor previous episode.
Overall, pretty good.
