4x09 Mr. Plow

"Mr. Plow" is an excellent episode that sees Homer open a successful plowing business, only for Barney to start a rival outfit that puts him out of business. While Barney's sudden turn comes out of nowhere, it does make for some high-quality humour, and this episode's filled to the brim with solid gags. The concept for this episode is a lot similar to "Flaming Moe's" from the previous season, though I prefer this one as it's funnier and makes better use of its celebrity guests. However, they're both high-quality episodes.

Overall, terrific.

One of, if not the best Simpsons episode. Definately one of my favourites

This episode balances rapid-fire jokes, nice family moments, and a cohesive story. It's an almost perfect Simpsons cartoon.

Barney hangs out in a hot tub with Linda Ronstadt, Troy McClure hosts "Carnival of the Stars", and Adam West has his driveway plowed so he can get the Batmobile out, which promptly loses its muffler. Krusty is attacked by circus tigers and Angela Lansbury walks over hot coals. Just another day in Springfield.
