“Brush with Greatness” is a solid episode that sees The Beatles’ drummer Ringo Starr making a special appearance. Mr Burns is as entertaining as ever, and Homer’s side plot about losing weight makes for some good humour, though a little underdeveloped. I also found Ringo’s response to Marge’s letter highly convenient in terms of timing, though I'm willing to let that slide to some degree, considering how special a guest he was.
