Bradley tell your family, fuck off

Wow, this was an amazing episode. Reese was fantastic. The writers have done a great job of balancing entertainment with strong social commentary.

What the hell was that "mediocre white man" rant?!

Isabella's rant is so bizarrely random, and feels like the cringey sequel to the public one Mitch got earlier in the season.

A lot happens on this episode. Yanko is suspended. Bradley is outed while getting lectures from her brother. Cory leaked Bradley-Laura to the press, in exchange for burying Hannah's dirt, and is reeling from the guilt. Alex is missing in action (the next episode description reveals she went to see Mitch in Italy, just as COVID-19 becomes more serious in Italy). Chip is feeling even more isolated and powerless. Mia is stretched and stressed to her limits.

Director Rachel Morrison (better known as a cinematographer) expertly weaves all of these events with a spot on perfect cadence. As the credit rolled, I put the remote down feeling all of their frustrations, stress, confusion, and anger.

Of course, someone's misfortune is other's opportunity. Daniel gets more air time as Bradley deals with the fallout. While Laura is certainly not in the good place, her poise demonstrates why she's operating from a higher level from The Morning Show hosts.

I can't wait to see where the show is heading.

I don't really get most of the characters. Seems like they want to paint Bradley as the only sane person among a bunch of sociopaths.

I actually felt that the "mediocre white man" rent was a social commentary at itself, that often those who get the heat are the relatively decent people (like Chip and Yanko in this episode), while the real predators (Fred, for example), go on with good exit package and continue pulling the strings behind the scenes with full confidence and entitlement.
It was more subtle that the one in Italy with Mitch.
Also, I love Mitch's real and not exaggerated remorse. I think the show is well-balanced.

So, Alex goes missing, Laura is hired as guest anchor for TMS, Corey leaks Bradley and Laura's affair, and Bradley's brother comes for a visit.

I don't know but is it some kind of overcompensation that urges women to lash out unprovoked against "mediocre white men"? But that rant against Chip was completely uncalled for. Of course, there's much anger at the overrepresentation of white men, and the consecutive underrepresentation of every other group, and I have to say I share much of that anger - but everything has its time and place, and right then, unprovoked wasn't it.

So, then we have Bradley and Laura being outed. Laura of course already knows that, and reacts with poise and dignity. Bradley not so much - and her reasons for that aren't really all that clear. There's much left to resolve about her family history... which becomes obvious at her brother's visit.
