OK, I'm invested now. And I somehow like it that Apple TV didn't make their shows to be bingewatched.
So far so good :grinning:
Jennifer’s acting in this episode was topnotch! Her speech in that board meeting while she’s wearing that red outfit that was next level!!
We definitely keep watching, good for the actors
Really wasn't sure I cared for Mitch's B-plot until his chat with Martin Short's character. That was a chilling moment for him and us to see there is nuance in it all.
Bradley is wonderful and I really hope they find this balance between her and Alex to the benefit of all. I wanna see her absolutely fly.
Liked this trailer when the show was first released- lots of renowned name actresses- but fails to meet up to the promise. The Morning Show is an overwritten, watered-down version of Newsroom. Without the intellectual criticisms of democracy, (and rants about the demolishment of the tea party!!) and without a Will McAvoy to lead the ship. And did I mention both Anniston and Reese play fairly unlikable difficult characters? That could be a plus in my book, (difficult women? hooray!) but here it's less of a plus, they're just difficult enough to be annoying, but not damaged, charismatic, or disturbed enough to divvy up the balance by adding plot friction.
Oh my - so the solution for a sex-scandal (or whatever qualifies these days as one...) is to be sexist (by womens standards - if a men-only show is sexist the conclusion is that a female only needs to be as well) another way...
I can forgive the sexism though, since I absolutely love Alex's powermove.
This episode is amazing. I’m enjoying the direction this show is headed so far.
I like this show so far! :ok_hand_tone4:
love love love Reese Witherspoon's character. Everyone is doing great, as a matter of fact!

Refreshing watching Aniston playing a powerful, and also her struggle to find that power, showing weaknesses, losing her s***, hope it can be a good chance for her to leave the soft comedy behind.
Used to not like Reese, being her one of the main character in Pretty Big Lies stopped for a while to finally watch the show and see how she has some range.
I can see here a lot of her Madeline, fast talking, neurotic.. She's good here, but basically playing a journalist Madeline.
Anyways, I like the show and the chemistry with Aniston.
Hoping to watch more of Carrell
