Pilot Episode: Howard Moon and Vince Noir are keepers at the Zoo-niverse but are not happy with their lot – particularly when new employee Dixon Bainbridge is immediately put on a pedestal by owner Bob Fossil due to his adventures and impressive moustache. Keen to show he is more than a match for Bainbridge, Howard takes Vince on a dangerous mission to be the first to recover a mysterious jewel deep in the frozen tundra of the Artic.

The Boosh returned to the stage in 2006, touring the UK for the first time. Though drawing heavily from their earlier material, the main story combined these elements into a new narrative. A recording of this show at the Brixton Academy was later released on DVD, before being broadcast on BBC Three on Boxing Day, 2007.

Are you ready to set sail into the future? Climb aboard HMS Boosh, hoist the Perspex anchor, set the controls for the heart of the sun and come navigate the electrical seas with Cyborg Patrick and his neon barnacles. In this live boosh presentation you will see Howard wrestle with the problems of the universe in tiny shorts while Vince gets his hair extra big and flounces about, Bob fossil's dance moves will turn you on then anger you over and over until you puke. You shall then weep with salty joy as Bollo and Naboo move about and say stuff in their own special way. The Boosh are mighty and sailing at you, strap your eyes onto your brain double tight cos its gonna get choppy like electric sushi.

Bollo, the eldest and most respected gorilla at the Zoo-niverse is gravely ill. Bob Fossil persuades Howard to dress in an ape suit, replacing Bollo, so that he can continue accepting sponsorship money for the gorilla. Everything's going smoothly until the Grim Reaper arrives and mistakenly takes Howard to Ape Hell instead. Vince sets off to rescue Howard and they run into trouble when they encounter the Ape of Death who is plagued with problem hair.

In an attempt to impress two goth girls, the boys stage a seance in their front room. Trouble ensues when they summon the most evil demon known to man, an old lady called Nanatoo, who does a runner with their flatmate, the Shaman Naboo's, most magic book. Naboo is livid and gets drunk, leaving it up to Howard and Vince to find the demon, retrieve the book and prevent Nanageddon.

They take in a spot of fishing on Black Lake where, angry at Vince's fishing success, Howard sends him back to the local pub.
