Nice, The Binder's explanation shed some light into the darkness of this confusing story :D And it doesn't feel bad anymore that Elliot is killing these false gods (I forgot about their backstory but until now I only didn't feel bad for Iris - the rest of the gods seemed "ok").
I want Julia to become a goddess (mainly for the cool powers and possibilities) but it might be great either way.
PS: And Fogg talking to a banana was kinda fun :D
The Binder sure had some sweet Necronomicon thing going on. We even had some human blood to make it as creepy as the actual thing! Period blood, of course, because this is The Magicians, after all.
And no, Josh, I'm pretty sure you weren't the only one getting The Ring/Grudge vibes. That was genuinely the first thing that came to my mind as soon as she appeared on screen.
Mayakovsky is hilarious! I wish we'd have more of him, but too bad he seems to currently be all screwed up.
BANANA PHONE!! I was out of my mind when I saw that scene! So childish and unexpected, but soooo hilarious! And Dean Fogg sure was putting his heart into that scene, since you could see he actually had one end of the banana really inside his ear. Now there's an actor who takes his job seriously!
Time-displaced Quentin and Alice was something awkward to watch... But of course that was going to happen. It was heartbreaking seeing past Alice so emotionally dependant on Quentin and so sweet watching past Quentin acting so caring around Alice... This only made me want so bad even more that Alice and Q get together again. So... Was that a hint at the end of the episode that such a thing may be happening soon?
Mayakovsky speaking nothing but 100% truth.
