Man, this season is just insanely good. Pitch perfect writing and acting. Really exceptional stuff.
You just got the wrong Kevin: Perfect line, perfectly delivered.
Well, that was an hour of my life wasted very well.
the most boring episode of the whole show
This was one of the best episode of the show. The photography, the casting, the story. The right amount of craziness, the right amount of funny moments, the right amount of tears. Just awesome. Best parts were: 1) when Kevin Sr. explains what he's been doing since he got in Australia and you connect the dots with this crazy episode in season 2 where Kevin Jr. sees him on the hotel's tv. 2) when this women explains what happens with her family. Perfect ending for a perfect episode!
Kevin Sr. is so beyond everything (except the limits of his physical body) it makes me jealous to have that kind of determination, minus having absolutely no regard whatsoever to anything else and I think in a way that makes him the mirror opposite of Matt, hotheaded and not willing to set for less than he aimed for. If anything goes wrong, he makes up something on the spot and marches on. But fuck it, it's Grace and her story making this episode worthwile, even more so knowing how the setting of their conversation resembles the one that Nora and Kevin will have at the finale (no spoilers). "I don't think you're crazy at all" / "Why wouldn't I believe you?" Like father, like son, but older Kevin is relentlessly pushing on, and our Kevin, by the time he and Nora will have their own version of this conversation, is a much more calmer and focused person who is willing to accept someone else's truth for their own sake, meanwhile Kevin Sr. nearly takes the edge off of Grace's story by still wanting to go forward. Great episode, but almost made me hate Kevin Sr. as much as I envy his unstoppable determinism.
Ok, they've officially lost the plot with this one, should have ended it at the end of season 2. Though I loved the "shame on you Sharon" crazy whitefella thinking, the notion that you can appropriate other people's culture in order to "save them" with your God complex, the irony. The whole show is a mockery of religion, but this episode is the icing on that particular cake.
Anyway, Kevin Sr's purgatory is hell, I was still bored, the episode is boring and the music torturous... as I guess it was meant to be. Mission accomplished? Too much credit? I dunno... I may have grasped at too many straws.
Easily the worst and most boring episode of the show. The last 5-10 minutes were good but the rest was just a bore. I really didn't care to watch an hour of Kevin Sr in a location I don't care about, surrounded by characters I don't care about. I don't care how well written it was or how pretty it looked. It was boring.
Grace’s story broke my heart! Imagine thinking your family is at least together only to realize what happened to them, but also her children were kinda dumb, if I see daddy is missing I would wait for mommy in the safety of my home, and it’s not like they had to wait weeks for her, it only took her one day to come back.
For a minute there I thought that australian cop was for real our Kevin cause he kinda had his vibe, I just thought these were flashforwards.
Also it’s an interesting detail that the departed departed with stuff they were holding (like the cereal box) and their clothes, so maybe it was aliens? Cause why would god want a box of cereal?
Simply one of the best episodes of TV i have ever watched. bat shit crazy
An hour of my life I am never getting back...maybe one of the worst episodes of this bizarre series
Holy God! This is crazy.

"Would you kill a baby if it would cure cancer?"
Another great episode that just focuses on one character. Kevin Sr. might be just insane enough to be onto something. If this is Kevin Sr's story, like he keeps saying, and not Kevin Jr's and Junior is like Jesus with the resurrections that makes Senior the father of Jesus, God? Just a crazy thought...
