[6.1/10] Sigh. It’s two steps forward, one step back with this show. This episode seemed to be cooking up something good, with Peter and Andre trying to staging a fake fight to scare off Rafi, having things get to real for both of them, and having to figure it out. Sure, it’s a little broad and sitcom-y, but there’s something there. Instead, it just falls to the wayside in favor of a bunch of dumb and even broader jokes.
Taco getting addicted to cocaine molded into a toilet seat is ridiculous and not in a funny way. Again, the show tries to blend the ridiculous with normal human reactions and can never get the balance right. And while I always enjoy seeing Rob Huebel, his whole sex addict routine was like a bad SNL sketch.
That said, I’m coming around on Rafi, whose cartoonish awfulness got some laughs out of me this time around. That said, the resolution with him getting coked up, destroying Andre’s eponymous painting, and bailing the league after having sex with Russel the sex addict is too neat, even if it lets the show bring Jenny into the league.
Overall, an episode that had potential but pissed it away pretty quickly.

This is the first 8 I've given for this show. It's the first time, I've felt that the show really works. It'd be a shame if Jason Mantzoukas isn't in the show any further.
