[4.8/10] Another big meh of an episode. Ruxin scheming to pretend he has a dead first wife to his current wife stretches the realm of believability and Sofia’s gullability too far. It’s another Home Improvement on jagermeister type story from this show, and the fact that the friends go along with it, and then we’re expected to care when the jig is inevitably and yet too conveniently up weakens the whole enterprise.
I abhorred the bit about Andre eating too much soy and then getting super emotional because he’s supposedly pumped full of estrogen. Setting aside the science fail of all of this, it’s such a retrograde plot, and the manboob-breastfeeding thing was dumb and predictable from a mile away.
Kevin’s feud with the Fantasy Football “gurus” wasn’t bad from Kevin’s standpoint, as him making an ass of himself only to stumble anyway is amusing. Hell, even the “rankings slave” was cute and relatable. But the problem is that so many of the guest stars from the world of sports this show brings in can’t act, and the radio guys here were no different.
Taco doing people’s obituaries was a mildly amusing bit, but again, verges on the overly cartoony. And Peter’s pale imitation of an Office Space situation was again, sitcom-y and just the pits.

Overall, yet another weak outing from this show.
