The back and forth with Serena is annoying. I hope she‘s playing the long game here, otherwise it gets tiring.

What an episode!! That ending gave me chills.

But if Serena goes back on her decision, this is gonna lose a lot of weight. She better not or else this would get boring.

How oblivious is Gilead to their global image that they thought including their clearly pissed-off handmaiden in the background of their staged plea to Canada would be a good idea? That people would perceive any part of that image with sympathy? Big yikes.

The Waterford's don't have much of a stand for an appeal to the Canadian government; Nichole (Holly) is the child of June and Nick, and Luke now has the evidence.

Everything about this episode is a disaster, especially Serena's eyebrows.

The writers really dont know what the hell they wanna do with Serena's character...

I'm not sure the Waterfords would be quite as pro-Canada as they appeared, though in the husbands case he's reconciling with his wife.

I take it back! It was all talk. That
turned around fast.Makes more sense this way. Serena wouldn't have liked Luke. I don't currently think it's the long game with her after seeing her hold that baby.

But is Gilead more brainwashing or communism, make up their minds.

I guess they do go hand in hand though. And the answer would be communism.

Serena was naïve, or maybe it wasn't her time to rebel just yet. I can feel like things are bubbling inside her and one day she is gonna crack. She could have just defected to Canada and ask for Refugee Asylum at the airport, get Luke's trust and expose Gillead's cruel reign and try to save the remaining women. Too easy an option it seems though. What I love about her character is that you never now what she is thinking or is going to do

How can June be an editor when she consistently says anyways and eckspecially?

Finding it hard to muster up sympathy for Serena after the way she’s treated June since the beginning. Loved the meeting between her and Luke though and can’t believe she’s managed to sneakily bring a phone back from Canada. Pleased she actually gave him the parcel June sent though as I half expected her not to. Also, very intrigued about Mrs Lawrence and learning more about her character back story..

It was a bit unclear how Serena got that package to Luke when she forgot it. We saw her fiddle with her handbag but there’s still a huge gap between that and him getting it.

Disappointed to see Serena turn it around. I had hopes for her. Obviously no woman belongs in Gilead. WTH. This is getting fucked up. Again.

I kind of wish June would have said something, but it probably wasn’t live. So they could have cut it and punished her both.

Love is always there, just not necessarily expressed through words。

Her real name is Holly.

Finally, thank you!

Even though I fear for June, Hannah and all the others in precarious positions, hopefully yet another backstabbing like that finally puts an end to the notion that there's a middle ground to be achieved here. June has to play smart, of course, but no more olive branches.
