The special anniversary episodes of the multiple Daytime Emmy® Award winning series The Bay will highlight some of the classic storylines and memorable moments that took place over the past 10 years in the fictional waterfront town of Bay City.
Pete and Lianna continue to look back at the lives of all those in Bay City and how they interacted with each other.
Pete Garrett (Kristos Andrews) and Commissioner Lex Martin (Tristan Rogers) discuss the Adam Kenway imposter (Daeg Faerch) and are on a mission to find out more about him. Bay City’s new Mayor Cleo Harris (Vanessa Williams) warns of a lockdown as news of a pandemic begins to spread throughout the city, reaching an extra cautious Daniel Garrett’s (Eric Nelsen) ear. Evan Blackwell (Brandon Beemer) and Tamara Garrett (Celeste Fianna) grow closer, as she is haunted by secret misdeeds of her past. Vivian Garrett (Karrueche Tran) has returned to Bay City and offers to help her husband on solving the mysterious “Who is Adam Kenway?” case. R.J. Garrett-Foster (Najee De Tiege) feels marginalized by Patty Walker (Andrea Evans) and her son Nick Myers (James Preston) and Nurse Matthew Johnson (Randy Wayne) show up in the nick of time. Sara Garrett (Mary Beth Evans) finds her reunion with twin granddaughters Frankie and Regan Sanders (Bianca D'Ambrosio and Chiara D'Ambrosio) short-lived as Steve Jensen’s goon Logan (Swen Temmel) appears threatening. Screen legend John Aprea (The Godfather Part II) makes his Bay City debut as former Mayor Jack Madison.
Nardo moves Lianna into her new place and has a surprising and threatening encounter with her new neighbor. At the hospital, Vivian, with the help of Pete Garrett and Lex, plots to get information out of the fake Adam when things take a surprising turn. As Bay City moves closer towards the pandemic lock down, Daniel makes his final choice between Matthew and Caleb. Colton continues to abuse his power as Sara learns devastating news!
John Blackwell exchange important information. The Covid-19 pandemic begins to spread throughout Bay City, and the hospital is close to maximum capacity. Nurse Johnson and former Mayor Jack Madison both start showing signs of having contracted the virus. Sofia, with the help of her daughter Riley, helps a struggling Jack, while Matthew informs his mother from afar. Avery is not happy when she learns that after leaving his shift at the hospital, R.J. was subjected to racial profiling. Sara shares her grief over the death of faux Adam with Lex, realizing her actual son might still be alive. Pete and Vivian re-ignite the passion in their new home, as a mysterious, menacing newcomer arrives in Bay City.
It’s the summer of 2020. Pete (Kristos Andrews) discovers someone has hacked into one of his offshore accounts. Damian (Erik Fellows) returns to the Blackwell family home surprising Evan (Brandon Beemer) and Tamara (Celeste Fianna). Pete and the D.A. have a heated exchange as Tamara continues her ploy to throw Evan off track. Jealous tensions mount between Daniel (Eric Nelsen) and Caleb (Mike Manning), after both men express some concerns in their relationship. As peaceful protests turn into riots in the streets of Bay City, Lianna crosses paths with Pete’s cunning identical twin, Adam Kenway (Kristos Andrews), believing he is Pete. Sara (Mary Beth Evans) shares a tender moment with Pete as they discuss the impending arrival of his and Vivian’s baby and R.J.’s struggle with racial injustice. Pete later attempts to comfort R.J. (Najee De Tiege) as Lianna, Riley (Brittany Underwood), Nick (James Preston), Xander (Dante Aleksander), Frankie, and Regan (Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio) take a stand for equality. Steve Jensen (Matthew Ashford) is alive and well in Istanbul, with surprising company and Blackwell (Ronn Moss) is on his tail. Special Guest Star A Martinez also returns as Lianna’s comforting abuelo, Nardo Ramos.
A break-in at the Blackwell family home reveals an unlikely suspect and betrayal. Tamara sees another side of Evan. A peaceful protest turns ugly and puts Vivian and her pregnancy in extreme danger as a member of the BCPD goes rogue. R.J. is arrested while Xander, Frankie, and Regan capture critical events on video. Damian and Avery have a change of plans. Sara questions some of her past decisions while her father Jack takes a turn for the worse. Meanwhile, Steve and Orchid are spotted in Istanbul but John Blackwell is on the prowl.
Thanks to her business affairs with Blackwell, Orchid finds herself in hot water with Steve in Istanbul. In Bay City, Lianna and Nardo learn that Pete has taken immediate action against Colton. Dr. Abraham informs Sofia and Riley about Jack’s worsening condition. Daniel reflects back on a happy memory with his ex Matthew R.J. and Avery have a passionate exchange about police brutality and racial injustice. Later, Caleb shares a surprising plan with Avery as Lianna shares information surrounding the real Adam Kenway (also played by Kristos Andrews) with Lex.
It’s New Year's Eve! Adam (also played by Kristos Andrews) has a sinister plan he is ready to unleash. Sara feels the love from Lex and her family. Sofia is happy to celebrate another year with Jack. Lianna hosts a New Year’s Eve gathering and truths are revealed as the Blackwell brothers, Evan and Damian bond. The big day has finally arrived for Daniel and Caleb and they receive an unexpected wedding gift from Matthew. Pete and a very pregnant Vivian face an unfortunate turn of events.
The Garretts receive a special message from Steve Jensen. As the wedding ceremony for Daniel and Caleb begins emotions are flowing. Lex and Sara make an important decision about their future while Tamara makes one final appeal to Evan. After a heart to heart with Nardo, Lianna receives an unexpected New Year’s Eve surprise. As the clock strikes midnight fireworks go off throughout Bay City and Adam's (also played by Kristos Andrews) diabolical plan is set into motion.
