This is a show that tries really hard to be witty. Has all the random movie quotes, the movie-like "con" situations, and yet you can see through the cracks at times, moments where the show loses its believability. The show is also incredibly formulaic. Every episode seems almost the same, just a different case to sift through. It gets tiresome seeing the same locations all the time. This is the epitome of weekly cable TV.
Great series then ended in a cliffhanger ... more so because we didn't know if the next series would be ordered. Totally hooked !!

Yawn. The fact people are hailing this as some incredible "courtroom/lawyer" drama is silly af. Then again, the stuff people think is amazing is hilarious.
This show is posing very very hard. Trying extremely hard to be cool guys doing cool stuff. It's got extremely poor writing, characters so flat i would barely even call them one dimensional... repetitive & formulaic episodes that are a pain to get through after a while.
And the pretty & straight people relationship drama gets really really really old & boring. Just like everything else.
I could hardly think of anything good. The premise, the main idea was a good one, but that's simply not enough.
This show having a score of over 8 is a joke - especially considering the underrated and well made shows out there that dont. All because people usually are too dumb for the plots - but that's good for this show i guess. This is the perfect lawyer drama for people who are obsessed with Marvel movies & Fast & the Furious. :joy:
Watch The Practice or Boston Legal - yes there is annoying drama in those, but they are much better. The Practice especially.
This started out super interesting for the first few seasons, then it just got unbelievable and out of touch with reality entirely. Every time they have Meghan Markle on the screen I cringe, she's a terrible actress and, as we find out later in life, a terrible person. I gave up around season 6 because I just couldn't stay interested anymore. At that point I also deleted all the previous seasons because it's not a show to re-watch, especially when you want to throw something at Meghan every time she's on.
Hate it that Lewis has basically no character growth. He always messes things up, someone helps him fix it, and when all is well, his insecurities come forward and make him repeat the cycle. The series itself is somewhat repetitive
The first 3-5 episodes of season 6 kind of suck, but the rest of the show is great. Really feel like it transitioned really well in season 8 also. It's probably a little hokey from an actual legal view, but aren't they all?
Season 9 got really hokey. But eh, I worked with a crazy b**** like the Fay character. Only thing worth it was watching that scum go down even when they rarely get what's coming to them in the real world.
