Great as final premiere in that it encapsulates this show's strengths well: nervy, petty, often hilarious character-based power game for most of its runtime, then able to land a sincere and pretty devastating emotional blow right at the end with the Shiv/Tom scene.

That scene with Shiv and Tom and the end was phenomenal.
The disgusting brothers is not something I expected. Such a perfectly lame, unoriginal, and juvenile turn of phrase for those two.
It's practically criminal that we didn't get to witness Bridget asking Logan for a selfie or Greg confessing to Logan.
The siblings spent 10 billion on a legacy brand, to piss off their dad, with funds they don't have - funds that are contingent on their father approving the sale of his business. Nan Pierce played them like a fiddle. Logan knows they overpaid. When he calls them morons at the end and they all just laugh because they think they "got him", it just shows how childish they still are.
The kids' obsession with Logan will be their downfall. I do feel sympathy for them because they are all screwed up from having Logan as a father, but I also feel like all four of their heads together could never be as ruthless, clever, or powerful as him.
“He said, he finds me disgusting and despicable”. Greg is going to turn into a monster by series end.

Shiv vs Tom is literally two bad people both suffering from their bad actions against each other so I don't feel bad. But also, good on the kids to f over Logan. At the same time, it sounds like Roman is the only one of them who is aware of how bad this business move could be and also the only one who wants to split from the Roy legacy.
The Disgusting Brothers definitely live up to their name. Smell one's throat and smell the other's finger.
First episode where I've found Shiv tolerable in a LONG time.

The humour is getting a little tiresome, as if the show has become too self-aware about the Gregg/Tom dynamic. In addition, Logan is getting to the point of parody. The dialogue remains sharp, but it’s more of a comedy than a drama at this point

What exactly is Connor’s role here? I feel like he keeps getting more and more pathetic. The ‘win’ the siblings got with their deal with Pierce doesn’t really feel like a win to me. Idk how they don’t see that.
The 100 was actually a decent idea, and I agree with Logan, could they get an original idea for the first time in their lives?
And I got the fortune to watch this show in a month so I kinda picked up that this was happening during a year starting from Logan’s bday so this confirms that, and my point is I can’t imagine watching this show through out 5 years only for it to take place in under a year
What was wrong with the cameraman at the beginning of the episode? I was nearly dizzy with all the movement.
