Straight lightning. Electric in a way only this show is able to pull off. Nobody says what they’re thinking and yet the audience knows exactly what’s happening.

Good lord.

Logan's profane roars throughout this ep are so good. And the Roy kids are so hilariously petty in their power scrambling, especially towards Shiv (Roman's gloating phonecall in particular), that I hope next ep she gets to go unleashed now that she's taken a side (for the moment).

AND THAT'S HOW YOU FUCK!NG WRITE A FUCK!NG TV SHOW!!!!

That's a premiere. If a show starts the season with you begging it not to end, you're watching a dam good TV series. By this point it's clear that Succession is one of the best Dramas of all time, similar to the likes of Mad Men and The Sopranos. The whole premiere never stopped keeping the juices flowing, everyone's on the verge of a nervous breakdown with what will be decided. At this point, I think this might end up being No. 1 on my Best of the Year list, looks like the TV gods gave us the best for last.

This was a giant gulp of pristine fresh air after months of so many let-downs and cringe fests, Succession is back to reclaim its spot on the throne of small screen storytelling!

FFS. Kendall has all the tools to succeed and he just keeps screwing it up, trying to be cool.

Yellowstone season opener was much better than this season opener.

Not a bad start. Not a great start. Solid start to the season. As always I enjoyed the Romulus quips. And that phone exchange with Gerri and Michelle-Anne (on the president’s staff) - exceptional writing, exceptional acting!

I get that having Kendall and his crew in her apartment must be super annoying for Rava, but I don’t empathize with her pain of them opening up that wine bottle, that was very eat the rich
And are we on the agreement that none of this would’ve happened if they had listened to Tom back in the first episodes??? He said lets have a conference, condone this and clean the house, and Gerri shut it down, Kendall and Shiv didn’t care about it
And what I’m gonna miss is Tom and Greg’s dynamic being in the same team

This show is unparalleled. It makes all the others look bad.
